    Here is a copy of what I described in my post 12 hours ago. This "raidbase" spawned with walls, bubble, scientists, but no base and not in a position that is in the spawns database.

    I just cleared my first "raid" that spawned off of its spawn point. There were no walls and base, but there was the bubble and NPC's. I had to use the /rbe despawn command to get rid of the bubble as well. I forgot to take a picture of it. I was going to next time I encountered it.

    Howdy Nivex, I tried to change the settings to buyable raids only and limited it to a handful of bases, using both custom spawn points and no specific spawn points using the plugin to determine. Both times the server still froze. If there is a version of the plugin which would help track the issue, I would be willing to use one of my servers as a testing ground to identify what I could do (or what could be done) to fix this freezing issue on my server. As always very appreciative for any guidance/assistance you may be able to provide. And sorry for so many posts lately, players on my server want their raidable bases back 🙂 Tim

    Howdy KpucTaJ (or anyone really), This may be a stupid question (well it kind of is). But Is it possible to add more items to the boss monsters loot in the following section by simply adding items? I dont want to crash the plugin or my server if I adjust it improperly.     Convoy Reforged

    Howdy Adem, I believe there is something in this plugin which is having an issue when the server restarts with convoy active. The convoy vehicle ends up at position 0 0 0, everytime I restart my server and I have to manually delete it each day. This item and others are causing lag issues around this position most wipes. As per WhiteThunder in the UMod forums "Any other entities near 0 0 0 are almost 100% guaranteed to be placed there by plugins by poor design or by mistake." Thanks, Tim

    Howdy Nivex and others, I adjusted my spawns database to include 2x the amount of points as maintained events, loaded the change onto my test server and we stress tested the hell out of the plugin. We were unable to replicate the server freeze. We had 8-9 bases on average with their timers active and many in them waiting to despawn and all was good. I am going to load this fix on my main server and will let you know if it freezes still. But it appears you were right that the queue for the spawn points was potentially impacting my server negatively this wipe as compared to previous wipes. Update... server froze up again the exact moment a player died to a turret in the raid base. I had 12 bases active with maintained events and 24 potential spawn points for the bases in the spawns database. There were 5 people on at the moment and only 2 raids were active. Not sure its the spawn points that is doing it. The server ran for 20 hours without freezing and it froze 90 minutes after putting raidable bases back onto the server. I have deactivated the plugin again until I can figure out what it is in this plugin that is causing my server to freeze. On a side note, I also saw this on UMod forms from WhiteThunder. "Someone recently attributed the code lock spam to the Raidable Bases plugin, so I suggest doing some experiments on a test server to see if you can correlate that plugin with the symptom. If you can, get in touch with Nivex so he can try to reproduce the problem and prioritize fixing it." This was in relation to codelocks spamming the middle of the map upon server restart and causing lag at times as well. Thanks, Tim

    Howdy Nivex, That might be part of the problem as I have a finite amount of islands and spawn points in my database. I am currently on hour 16 without a server freeze after removing Raidable Bases plugin. My previous best was 8 hours after the previous wipe. But this was overnight when very few people were raiding. To be completely honest about my current raid base island setup on my server. I have 16 islands with 15 maintained bases. I was able to load the same map on another one of my servers and me and two other players were able to crash the server when we had completed 2 raids which were still in countdown to destroy and we were about to finish up our 3rd raid. We were speed raiding to see it was something with the number of bases which caused it. My old server settings had 14 raid islands and 12 bases active and it was not uncommon to have 5-6 active at points in the wipe without freezing. Likewise, this wipe when it froze most recently yesterday I had 16 raid islands with 12 bases spawning, as I didn't want to edit any files in the raid base plugin on my last server rebuild attempt. It froze twice with these settings. Normally on my main server high pop is around 25-30 people and average is 15-20 during most of the day this close to wipe. When there is that many people on there are often 5-6+ raids active at any point in time. Your plugin is hugely popular on my server. However, this freezing issue did not occur on my servers prior to this wipe. As of last night I have confirmed that this "freezing" has actually occurred with 3 of my servers total since the latest wipe. We did have to force it to happen on one of them. I did also recently add my nightmare raid bases into the expert profile as well on the main server. This change was not replicated on one of the servers which crashed. Additionally, I did not add the expert bases to the nightmare profile after I rebuilt the server for the second time in hopes it was something that occurred when I updated so many plugins on the day before the wipe, or when I FTP transferred files from my old host onto my new machine. The main server still froze with the unchanged profiles as well. I will attempt to lessen the number of bases and/or add spawn points this wipe on one of my servers and stress test it again. I will report back if this was my issue. I really hope to get your plugin active again as it is amazing from a player perspective. And it can be a joy from a builders perspective when you hear people complain about your shotgun trap placement and base path 😄 Tim

    Howdy Nivex, I am writing this today as a last ditch gasp at helping me with a problem I have been having on my server as of late. Since this thursday's wipe my server has randomly frozen up to the point where the host does not crash, it just stops communicating with the players. I highly doubt that Raidable Bases is impacting it as there would be more people commenting on here given the popularity of this plugin. With that being said, Raidable Bases is the most popular plugin on my server and when there are many raids being run this is when the server freezes, while overnight when there are fewer players on and even less doing the bases the server runs without issue. My question to you is, one of my Admins saw previously how the min/max loot in a base if not able to be placed properly causes something similar 6 months ago or so for someone. Do you think this could be an issue possibly still? I haven't had this issue prior to this wipe with the exact same bases. My second question is are you aware of a number of active bases being raided which would cause a AMD 5900x processor with 128 GB of RAM to have problems not crashing? I ask this only because after 3 days of my server freezing up every 4-6 hours, my anxiety has exceeded my coping abilities and it is impacting my Crohn's disease in a negative manner and I figured I would ask you if you had any suggestions, as I have deleted Raidable Bases today and the server seems relatively stable since and it hasn't crashed since.     I attempted to update this plugin from 1.1.5 to 1.1.6. I was prompted with the following error. I attempted to put this comment on the Lone site where I purchased this plugin... But that site was trash and wouldn't load the comment section enough to allow me to send this message. Please advise what is missing in the latest update on my end to cause the following error... Could not initialize plugin 'Convoy v1.1.6' (JsonSerializationException: Cannot deserialize the current JSON object (e.g. {"name":"value"}) into type 'System.Collections.Generic.List`1[Oxide.Plugins.Convoy+NpcConfig]' because the type requires a JSON array (e.g. [1,2,3]) to deserialize correctly.     I updated to 2.2.6 and the bases stopped using the custom spawn points for my raid islands. I rolled the plugin back to 2.2.5 everything started to spawn back on the islands. When I checked rb debug it didn't give any errors and there wasn't anything out of the ordinary in the text given. I figured I would give you a heads up. If you need me to duplicate this again on my test server I can and give you the exact rb debug message. Thanks, Tim
  14. Was a bit of a sudden notice, but I do believe this was out of Steenamaroo's control. If this plugin becomes something similar to what happened with the raidable bases plugin in becoming two different versions of the plugin which are working, this will be something that most PVE server owners would have made the move to the paid version. How quickly it transitioned is difficult for some people. I did purchase the new plugin and have it running... I would have purchased it at any point when it became active as a paid plugin, so it is fine with me.

    Is there a way to stop the following message from spamming the RCON? [Raidable Bases] DEBUG: The max amount of maintained events are spawned. [Raidable Bases] DEBUG: Maintained coroutine is waiting for 1 second. I have seen this periodically spamming the RCON and today it seems to be doing it ever since I restarted the server and installed the most recent update. Thanks, Tim

    Raidable Bases

    Question, would trees cause a base to not spawn in a defined spawn point? The raidable bases are stuck once again where it did not maintain the maximum number or bases. I checked the /rbe debug command and teleported to the two locations it said there was an issue. The only things on the islands are trees and previously the plugin would just remove enough trees to paste the base down. I am just wondering if I need to adjust the islands to have nothing on them once again to ensure bases paste down. Listed below is the RBE debug as well as the same location after reloading version 2.1.4

    Before updating the plugin today I had it set for maintained events to spawn 1 minute after the latest spawn. This was due to wanting the raid bases to respawn to max population right after a server restart. However after today's update I seem to be getting stuck at very few bases spawning and there being an incredible delay between spawns. I am using custom spawn points (14 points on the map with 12 maximum events at one point in time). I just wanted to let you know... On both of my servers this caused the program to produce roughly 4 bases in an hour of waiting. I rolled the plugin back to 2.1.4 and they spawned as they had been previously.

    Honest answer... unless you have set zones for them at a specific height. I made a couple custom maps with islands at 1 meter above sea level and i have custom points for the bases. As a result the bases never spawn underground for me any more. But that is the only fix I have found.

    Howdy Nivex, Thank you so much for the information. To be completely transparent the server I am running is not on a dedicated machine. I do run an insane amount of plugins as well, I believe its around 80-85 total. However the machine I am on has on other than 3-4 occasions over the last year run very smooth with very good server fps (70-80) after multiple days running without a restart. It averages roughly 20 people at peek and around 50-60 unique players per day. I have a high CPU priority server with 16 GB of ram and I rarely use more than 12 GB of the existing package on average as well. The machine itself is hosted on HostHavoc. I am not one to say it could not be server/network related to the machine, I have been through 3 hosts now trying to find a really good host up to this point and do eventually see my server needing a dedicated machine if it grows much more. I might have been overconfident, however as I mentioned previously the server has run on this host for a while now and we have had larger structures and more entities in previous wipes with the same plugin load. With the exception being I added this plugin for this wipe to limit entities such as fires, furnaces, pumpjacks and the like as these were getting a bit out of hand during previous wipes. I will adjust the items you suggested. I really appreciate the help both of you have offered with regards to this issue. I will message you on discord Mon@h. I will try to get in contact with you in the next few days. I have a few projects in real life that I have to deal with over the next day or two but I will reach out.     The plugin works as it is described. However as I mentioned in a posting in the discussion for this plugin, there appears to be something within the plugin which causes it to occasionally ping the server in excess of 20+ times per minute. Ultimately this review is due to the plugin pinging excessively and the author assuming they know what my server specs are and what was causing the issues on my server. If these items are fixed eventually I will try this plugin again... However as of today I have removed this plugin from my server as I cant have a plugin pinging my server like this one does. Edit: This rating will likely go up even further as the author is really trying to help resolve this.

    Well, my current server has ran with 310,000 + entities in a wipe without any issues. At this stage of this wipe my server has 230,000 entities. So I am going to go with my service is more than capable of handling the load of the buildings on it. Its the fact this plugin is pinging my server 20-30 times in one minute. I have at this stage removed the plugin from my server and all is good. Just figured I would give you a heads up, and possibly seek out a remedy for the amount of pings. It is odd that it doesnt do this all the time and it is quite random, it did this earlier today right after a server restart when there was just 3 people on and all of them were not building or doing any type of construction when it happened. I like the plugin, but cant have a plugin pinging the server constantly with that frequency and potentially causing an issue. P.S. I thought of this after this response. This was when raidable bases was pasting in the bases for my server and I was also pasting down a base for a player who was moving from one of my servers to another one of my servers. This might or might not be related to how it interacts with the copy paste plugin. Its an outside the box thought that might or might not help you identify and possibly limit the interaction and pinging of this command. I hope it helps you out.
