I just tested this now because I didn't remember having an issue with it @Anakin89, and can confirm that it was not a problem for me. There may be another plugin you are using that is interfering with it and causing it. If you help identify it we might be able to offer a fix. I tried it with the default and a custom magazine and both retained all the ammo when being repaired. If you can get video of any glitches you are having though and any console errors when this happens as those could help.

Reach out to the developer directly @Nancy Hough. In the future you can do this in checkout, and gift it to someone else. You just cannot do this with multiple other purchases at the same time.

NPCs have a lot built into them already and are constantly being updated and given more functions and parameters, sharks just don't have anywhere near as much put into them they are quite simple. The suggestion is there for us to come back to and kick around as an idea but short term I just don't want to get your hopes up.

The PveMode plugin allows the boss to be locked to the player or team who does the most damage. This also adds similar functionality to many of the other plugins in our library. BetterNpc for example acts similarly and the NPCs cannot be looted if someone did more damage. It gives many options within configs for the many event plugins in the library as well. You can look into this plugin @VSM and it will address your concern.

It sounds to me like the plugin needs to be updated @IamDinosaur so the version number needs to be checked.

I just wanted to share that since you mentioned it, wasn't sure if you knew about it. Unfortunately though for your suggestion, no they cannot be added to an event like this. Sharks have no ability to see building blocks and things like the submarine and will just swim right through them which unfortunately as fun as the idea is would just not work for the majority of people to just have sharks randomly phase swim through the submarine. Fun idea though!

Which NPCs are you referring to @IamDinosaur and what are the context and circumstances? If they are NPCs from any other plugin ensure that this plugin is up to date as well. It would likely be a similar issue of the plugin that is spawning them is out of date at the moment.

Never need to hesitate to open a ticket @Zandler. We like easy fixes, and sometimes these can just be helpful for the next person that comes along and does some research on an issue they had, and might find the same fix or explanation. If you can find any issue though definitely do not hesitate to let us know. It would be a bit odd for such a thing to result in them being kicked so we don't mind to look into this further if the steps to make this happen are something that can be repeated.

I'm glad the other issue has been found, hopefully there is a simple way around that happening @MTriper. With the other issue just change the probability to a lower probability and make sure there are no 0s for quantity or probability and you would be fine. The lower probability would be similar to what you were trying to achieve as some of the time it would not be selected. Or if you have any other questions or need suggestions on something you are trying to achieve you can let us know. Hopefully that was nice and straight forward though so just confirm if that helped for you when you have the time.

Can you confirm also your version of each file @IamDinosaur. It sounds to me like you need to update NpcSpawn but anything you see in console might help us if there is any other issue. There are still occasionally issues where customers are downloading what they think is a new version and receiving an older version, it is a caching issue on the site, you may need to clear cache or try another browser if that ends up being the issue when you check to see that the versions are current.

Reloading the plugin like that is normally going to tell you what is wrong @crgrulkey so once you move the data folders over, reload the plugin and make sure that there are no other errors. It should tell you what the issue is but if you need help you can bring any other errors once you've moved the files here to us. Once you move the data folder and files into your server though and reload the plugin you should be good to go! You already have NpcSpawn which is the only other thing you need.

There is no feelings of obligation at all. I just like to offer ideas in case they may be appealing or something not yet considered. I also like to suggest temporary solutions in case a permanent answer takes a little time to get to. Also I don't think it lazy of you. Being creative is something I admire and like to see in the community, and especially owners or admins that don't mind doing a little work to get a desired result. Keep up the good work and thank you for the suggestion and idea!

I would review specifically the wipe process @MTriper since that is the only day it is happening. It seems most likely that there is something to do with that process that is having this result. But as I begin to try to think through possible reasons why it poses another question, why only on that day when the server starts? If I had to guess there is another plugin that is taking up a lot of resources, pushing the other plugins back as the server loads or causing some other kind of issue where this happens. Perhaps even reviewing the logs on those days can show the issue. The next time you wipe I would look after the server is up and running to see if all plugins are running properly. One plugin perhaps coming up for the first time after a wipe almost feels even more likely than something related to the server unless anything to do with the process of wiping and coming back up could be a factor. I hope those ideas might be helpful.

Are you in the Mad Mapper Discord by chance? Video of what you're describing would be very helpful. Players will always try to find ways around systems. I'm not sure that much can really be done about this, we can only control and engage so far before this could become a problem with other instances where it would create undesirable effects. We will discuss and consider this workaround though.

The image you shared is actually explaining the issue. There is a folder and files you did not move into your server. You can disable the UI if you want, but for the full effect of the plugin you need to move the Images folder into your oxide/data folder and with it the images inside as well. Once you've moved them you can reload the plugin and you should be good to go.

Just an idea and suggestion @Jayson have you considered to make the NPCs more difficult? This would be a simpler and easier way to add some more difficulty to the plugin and can be done already with the configuration. I only challenge your point because as he said it was intended to be more geared towards beginners or solo players for example, and having multiple difficulties they may hope for an easy and end up with a hard. I think if a beginner would want to challenge themself they should be given the opportunity of less intense events like Power Plant or this Oxum's Gas Station event to start and gain confidence, and if the server is able to have multiple options, even just a couple, then other more difficult events can be their next stop to challenge themselves. Any event can have it's difficulty edited through configuration and creativity. These are just suggestions and ideas though I don't mean to put your suggestion or request down in any way.

I can say that @kaffeebohne did make a good and valid point, as it would be quite rare for this to happen. But I can expand on this further. In regards at least to Convoy certainly, the intention is that if they cross paths that there will be no issue, and they will pass each other harmlessly. It may not look pretty potentially or realistic but it will work and there should be no conflict or issue. In regards to the other plugins, the same should apply. But I can say since the team does not have the ability to test every plugin that has something on the roads, I just hope that everyone and anyone feels welcome to join or return to the Mad Mapper Discord and to let us know in a ticket so that we can review, confirm, and address any issues that arise or are found. I mean.. he's okay.. haha Sounds to me like you need to update NpcSpawn as well. Manually double check the version when you download it or go to the Google Drive to get it, as there are still some people having issues where it is downloading an older version. It is a caching issue on the site. Clearing cache or using another browser may also work.

Yes and no. I would probably not recommend making their roam range too high to be honest. That being said, my recommendation for a 'roaming' type of NPC I'd recommend using the Biome files. These will spawn around the different biomes in random areas around the map. Their roam range will decide how far they can move, but the chase range most give them range to attack as well, so it is best to keep a smaller roam range since there will be NPCs scattered everywhere.
