You added the RAND switch in the editor right? I'm assuming you did since it's loading the file. Either way I see an issue with the custom map file. You removed some of the formatting. { "ID": "530.775", "List of bosses": [ { "Boss Name": "Michael Myers", "List of positions": [ "(591.96, 101.40, 25.98)" ] } ] } This is based off of the location in the file you shared. You have a different location in the example text you sent. Not sure which you are using, but fixed the formatting on the file. Gasoline.json

The most common reasons if you have NPCs left would be that they did not have enough spawn points for the number you set, and they are below the map at the CG point (0,0,0 coordinate), or occasionally they can run off depending on certain configurations and other players or NPCs that pull them away from the main area.

Do you mind creating a ticket in the Mad Mapper Discord and tagging both me and KpucTaJl in it? Will look more into this. Has this been the same map or different maps? Want to look first at any plugins affecting cargo. We aren't getting any other reports of it happening. -
It works. I am not selling it either I just provide support. As I already said you're entitled to your opinion but I've already explained that it works. It is actually THAT simple. Not here for your respect, didn't expect or ask for it. But if you're quite done now leave the discussion for people that have questions. Otherwise you have already been offered to reach out to the DEVELOPER to discuss further. -
I'm not going to go back and forth you're entitled to your opinion. I don't know where I said anything was 'okay' but the plugin was fine before Facepunch came out with a huge update that affected it. Not sure what else can be said or how I can explain it more clearly and plainly. Just minutes ago I told you that you can reach out to the developer if you're server is that affected and you'd like to discuss options. Otherwise not much else other than to debate back and forth and I'm not going to do that. If you feel that strongly that's fine but I am here to support and answer questions otherwise.

The plugin still works and runs fine on high end machines.

It is very unfortunate that the water update impacted the plugin so much as it was really fun and only got to be enjoyed for a short time before the update really screwed it up. If you like anything else in KpucTaJl's library go to the Mad Mapper Discord and create a ticket. Goes for anyone with this issue. The developer is usually willing to offer a discount on another title due to the issue the plugin has after that update.

Has it happened more than once or was it isolated? Perhaps they got pulled away from the area or something like that? -
Have you confirmed whether it is a map issue, and whether unloading the plugin gets rid of the error? Have not been able to reproduce.

The two plugins do very similar things, but they would both work yes. There are preferences and differences between them so it is a matter of personal choice, but the two can and would run together yes. Very well but it would depend from server to server. Most popular on PvE servers. I love having difficult NPCs and players from PvP servers have rage quit my PvE servers plenty of times complaining about the NPCs haha. So it depends on the server and such but yes in my opinion it's a welcome addition to any server, gives a lot more to do and less places to hide in a sense. -
Create a ticket either in the Mad Mapper Discord or on the site if nothing else. If you jump into the Discord we can easily share config and such back and forth I'd like to see how you have it configured to know for sure what to suggest.

There is not a probability in percentages, but rather in numbers. Instead change the minimum number of NPCs to a lower number, so that you have a larger spread between minimum and maximum NPCs.

What type of server setup do you have? Make sure the server files are updated. Do you have NpcSpawn installed already? -
There would be specific files that go into your data folder, as well as a .cs file that needs to go into your plugins folder. Those are the main steps really but if you're still having difficulty let me know.

We've done it in the past I think it is relatively simple honestly. I think K is away at the moment but would you do me a favor? Jump into the Mad Mapper Discord and create a ticket there. Tag me and KpucTaJl in it and will go over the changes needed. I'll be able to check and see if I already have some notes on it that I can easily find again. -
Some of the text may sound odd at times especially the older portions of the config before I joined the team to help with English translations. Glad that sorts out your issue though nice and easy!

To my knowledge that plugin uses it's own formatting and is only going to take the text. You can reach out the the developer of the notify plugin though to see if they'd consider adding the capability.

That is intentional. One question as you pursue that, the reason it was changed is many players were using them maliciously, throwing airdrops on players or their bases to cause NPCs to spawn around them. -
Have you narrowed down when that error is occurring? Like what is being damaged or killed when the error occurs? Note things like what plugin is using NpcSpawn when it occurs for example.

This event was built to be similar to a raid, so that's likely something to do with why they don't function like normal doors they are meant to be blown open with explosives. I would ask that developer if it's something they think they could change or you could have them reach out to KpucTaJl to address.

Check the messages when you reload the plugin. My recommendation would be a fresh install possibly though. NullReferenceException errors are usually something out of sync with configs and a fresh install can often fix them. Make copies if you customize it much and want to keep any of that information. If you have continuing issues feel free to jump in the mad mapper discord and creating a ticket.

I have added this to our notes for suggestions and requests. KpucTaJl reviews them when he is going through the rotation of updating plugins. I think he might be interested in adding at least a notification of sorts. Thank you for the suggestion!
