    Also @DodgeMan can you let me know what type of system you are using like the machine and OS this is running on, as well as what you are using between oxide and carbon and your current version? Just want to collect some data for our notes.

    I understand, when Facepunch updated the water system it affected this plugin greatly. Before that update it really was not a performance issue unless customers were increasing the amount of boats by a large amount. I will say that most people have had success since the update with just reducing the amount of boats between the separate presets, and the effect on the server is lessened. There is also the ability to set specific spawn points for the boats to be able to reduce the number but have boats spawning in desired places to guard places like Oil Rig. As far as the disappearing NPCs you are the 2nd person to report this. I have added this to our notes and will make sure the developer knows about your testing and reports and it will be addressed as soon as possible. Thank you for doing the additional testing to try to narrow down other interactions or issues that could be causing this to happen. If you would like to feel free to join the Mad Mapper Discord and create a ticket there to discuss further and see what can be done short term while this is looked into.

    You are welcome to join the Mad Mapper Discord and create a ticket if you want to dialogue with KpucTaJl in more detail. We don't know about something until it is reported or requested, and keep in mind you are talking about a game that updates constantly, sometimes things do change that were written and intended differently when the plugin or previous updates are released. I was simply pointing out that neither he nor I remember hearing anything about this type of request when I mentioned it to him and we discussed. Thank you for confirming. I've added this to our notes.

    Can you confirm that message is going to all of chat? Some of the messages are only for the players in the event zone. I can add something to our notes if those messages are going to all of chat and not just those in the event or in the area. The developer already considered this but there has not been feedback or requests for it before to our recollection. Generally people are able to remove messages they don't want or just remove chat messages entirely. I believe the newer GameTip option works the way you are trying to use this which might be an option you could use and might like. But if you can't get it situated let us know and we will add something to our notes.

    I added a note and this will be looked into with the next or future updates to NpcSpawn. Thank you for the report and stay tuned and keep an eye on update notes. This will be sorted in NpcSpawn since it is the core plugin for the AI.

    These are two separate fixes by the way you can do either one and should be able to reload the plugin and continue.

    Two things you can do. It looks like you have access issues and the host or server is not allowing you to create the folders. 1) You can check this video to setup authorization. 2) You can also instead just create the folders manually and they will already be there. Blocking the folder creation will not help as you'll still not have the folders you need and will run into another error. data/NpcSpawn/NavMesh data/NpcSpawn/Preset Add these two folders then reload and you should be fine.

    My guess from what you are saying is that you are changing it to a 0% probability. You never want to have quantities or probabilities of 0 in loot tables. Instead you want to remove that entry entirely. Be careful not to break the formatting in the configuration but just delete the rockets and C4 from the loot tables instead of trying to enter 0 anywhere and reload the plugin once this is complete.

    One way to specifically address this part of the question, would be to edit the NPC configuration and to decrease their sense range so that they are not sensing or seeing people further away. There are a few ways you can configure NPCs to be less aggressive and slower to notice players. In regards to this part of the question there is a separate plugin called PveMode that was created after many of the events such as this one already existed. It was created to add additional options for servers to lock damage and looting of an event under certain circumstances. You can completely configure this as desired so you could make ownership very easy to obtain, and then you could block targeting or damage to and from the event within these configuration options. They just require PveMode to work so depending on if you own it, or if you want it, the first option should be helpful.

    Check the health of the wall next to it as well. You are probably seeing the splash damage to a wall nearby, or even the floor or roof there.

    The event plugins that take place on a monument need the Facepunch monument prefab to be able to find the location and take place there. So custom monuments even if they are very similar or broken down versions of the monuments, the plugin is not going to be able to find them since the monument isn't there. This is how the event is able to work automatically and at an accurate location. The only way this works is if it is a Junkyard monument with custom stuff added to it, as long as it's still the default prefab it won't work.

    No it's alright I just wanted to be sure I understood fully what was happening. So it seems like the Bosses are engaging these NPCs but neither NPC is actually doing damage to the other if I am understanding correctly, in this instance. I wonder if perhaps you have a TruePVE setting that is blocking this damage? If I am not mistaken this should otherwise work as you are expecting and is just my initial question in regards to the fact that they do not. But what is most odd would simply be that it sounds to be working in other instances, so then I am wondering if it has anything to do with the zombie NPCs specifically. What base type is this NPC, and is it a normal NPC with a zombie skin to wear, or something else? Any console errors you can find around this, or maybe even video might be helpful. If you are in the Mad Mapper Discord please feel free to create a ticket and give us any information you have on this instance. NPCs vs players is the main intent and biggest concern so thank you for confirming that there is no issue there, as it is the most important function they have. It is a bit interesting that they seem to have some difficulty here too fighting amongst themselves but that is NPCs for you. I am always on the lookout for AI to start becoming too smart, so maybe it is still best for us as a human race that they are dumb at times. Hopefully it is not just a ruse.

    No disappointment at all. I used to run into things like this all of the time. I always go through a new configuration and make several changes that I think that I want. And I would learn at times that I didn't fully understand what I was changing or something to that effect. It's no problem at all. Simply changing this back to false will remove the error for you. Thank you for the reply.

    Also @Dead Nasty if you do not use BradleyTiers and only use BradleyDrops we can look further into this as well. I think maybe it could be the same or related or maybe in that instance it is actually part of the plugin code instead of being a config option. I see your errors is from BradleyDrops instead so maybe for that instance more might need to be looked into and addressed. But just collecting all the information we can before making any changes. I did not see a similar option in the default config shown in the Description but maybe it has been added and does not show or maybe I missed something.

    So there is a config option in BradleyTiers that you have set to true and this causes the conflict error. "Bradley Tiers can interact with NPC": false You can set this to false in BradleyTiers config to align this with NpcSpawn logic and to get rid of the error. If there is a reason that you want this function to be allowed, if you can give some context to how you would use this, and what the importance is, the developer and I are curious. He has already indicated if there is desire for this to be allowed that he will look further into it and address the request. We just want to know the the intent and importance to understand it well.

    Currently that wouldn't work as NpcSpawn has not taught NPCs to swim. I will run the idea and suggestion past the developer and have already added this to our notes for consideration.

    Just to confirm, out of curiosity if nothing else, are you saying that you had it enabled but that BossMonster bosses are not attacking back? I wonder if it could be something with their configuration but not very likely. But just wondering if you've found an instance where this method doesn't necessarily work. Perhaps they have a low sense range or something like that, to avoid aggro on unexpected players, and this is affecting their ability to defend themselves. But to further confirm it works normally in Convoy and they are responding correctly and attacking back? Feel free to let me know what additionally you notice or find out. I was hoping that was one of those nice quick easy fixes but sounds like that wasn't the case this time.

    The M4 shotgun which I assume is what you mean, and the legacy bow, were just added in Deecember. They are in our notes to be taught so to speak to the NPCs. It's not a bug but they need to be taught new weapons when they are released.

    It depends partially on which way or ways you have them being rewarded. There is configuration options already for economics for example that can be edited. But perhaps you have other plugins that award economy or RP for certain actions that could be addressed, but would likely be more of a full server change than for the plugin itself. Again it depends on how you are rewarding them and what specifically you want to increase. There is an option to list commands that will be executed on the completion of the event that might also be an option for you. Issue a command to reward the player(s) this way.

    One feature that should help a little bit, is there is an option to give them custom locations. This can be helpful because you can reduce the numbers but have them in targeted areas like Oil Rig or other places of interest. The y axis or the 2nd coordinate is not as important as the height will be automatically dependent on the water level, but the x and z or 1st and 3rd coordinates are what will define the spot the boats will spawn. Hopefully that might help a bit.

    No it is nothing you are doing wrong. When the plugin was first released it was a relatively minor affect on performance. But then along came the water update and it really took a toll on the plugin. It was very unfortunate and wasn't able to be predicted when the plugin was first released. The best counter is to lower the total amount. The only think you may have missed is that there are several presets in the plugin by default. I forget off the top of my head how many there are but you might have reduced the number in the first preset, but there are still others with the default amounts. Double check, and try reducing the overall count to see if you can get a comfortable amount of boats running without too much of a hit to server performance.

    Correct they ignore knocked and wounded players until they get up again. NPCs can be equipped with Rocket Launchers but only use them when a player is behind defenses or inside their base. They are only used for raiding.
