Harmony patches with Carbon are redundant and can pose issues with users using carbon in parallel with random harmony patches. The assumption is that users doing this would understand the risk, but that's unrealistic. Most people wouldn't understand, nor would they care. Carbon is built on Harmony and offers easy implementation of custom hooks without needing Harmony patches. If you're using Carbon, you don't need these patches. If there's a particular patch you want to use on Carbon, ask the developer to either ship it as a plugin or utilize Carbon's built-in custom hook feature to implement the desired hooks. Harmony is useless without a framework. That's where Carbon comes in. Carbon is an upgrade over Harmony, so using both is pretty redundant. This isn't a matter of "restricting freedoms" but ensuring users cannot poorly implement it into our framework. I hope this clears things up!

It's possible you're experiencing a cache miss. That's when the edge cache took too long to respond so an origin call was made, causing the longer paint speeds. I just deployed another bucket to hopefully intercept these misses and prevent your browser from having to wait for origin calls.

The fact it's a gif has very little to do with the size of the payload. We have a pretty strict size restriction on screenshots to prevent large images from affecting the paint speed of our site. In addition, we have three layers of caching as well as serving all static and revolving content via a CDN. This has little impact on our SEO. Even if it did affect our SEO it's a nice tradeoff as gifs make products far more appealing and allow creators a way to garner more impressions by having engaging thumbnails.

This would appear to be a unity error, so you'll need to look into your server log and copy/paste the stacktrace. Though it sounds like it's caused by whatever NPC plugin you're using since there's an obvious issue with them as this spam is occurring.

Has this issue been resolved? If not, it seems you have a plugin overriding the CanCombine hook that's preventing dropped items from stacking.

@vokay @AhigaO, any feedback on a possible solution? It seems a few people here are having a similar issue. Thank you!

Since you didn't provide much context, we have multiple support channels, but you should start by submitting a support request on the file's page you need assistance with. If you're having trouble getting a response from the author, or if it's a site-related issue, please reach out to us using either live chat via the chat bubble at the bottom right of the screen or send us a web ticket at https://codefling.com/help. Otherwise, feel free to hop in our Discord at discord.gg/codefling

I assume you mean Carbon, if so, it depends on the plugin. The developer of Chaos has opted to not support Carbon and is implementing measures to ensure their plugins won't work on Carbon. I recommend finding alternatives.

This is planned but not in the near future. We're currently working on UX improvements as well as pushing changes to creators to make support more accessible to customers.

Due to a huge influx in submissions, average approvals times are longer than expected. We usually try and get files approved within 24 hours, but please bear with us as our team works around the clock to address the queue of pending files. Thank you!

We are aware of this issue and have identified it to be an issue with Chromium-based browsers caching previous versions of files which leads to stale content being served. We've adjusted our cache headers and deployed new instructions for browsers to hopefully fix and prevent this issue in the future. If you're still experiencing this please clear your browser's cache. If the issue persists please follow up here. Thank you and apologize for the inconvenience!

That's correct, or you can use /cp unless configured otherwise. If the panel is not showing, double-check your auth level and ensure you have auth level 2. If it's still not working, check our carbon config to make sure it's not disabled.

Hmm, we had a banner at the top of discussions with a warning about it, but I think it got yeeted in one of my latest updates. I'll get that added back.

Correction, we have identified an issue on our end and have rolled out a fix. Apologies about that.

I'm not able to reproduce any issues on our end. I was able to checkout just fine for chest stacks using your account. Here's your checkout URL https://codefling.com/checkout/68946/

This issue was resolved earlier today. Please download the latest version here: https://codefling.com/carbon/download

Thanks for reaching out. It does appear to have been an issue on our end that has been fixed. Sorry for the delay!

I'll get you started by helping you with your first problem. You want to create a new file in your server/cfg folder and name it server.cfg then add the relationshipmanager.maxteamsize 1 to it and save. Now the server will apply this on startup. You can add as many convars to this file as you'd like. One per line.

Introducing Carbon - A high performance mod framework
Death replied to Death's topic in Announcements
Yes, you will need to uninstall Oxide. To do that, delete all of the oxide.dll's from the managed folder and run validate to overwrite the assembly.dll. You can copy and paste all of your oxide folders and files into Carbon as we've opted to use the same name convention to ensure a seamless switch. The only thing you need to rename is config folder to configs. If you need additional assistance be sure to reach out to us on Discord! discord.gg/carbonmod
