Few issues i'm facing which i'm sure are easily answered - running this with NPC Spawn, wanting to add bots to all Default monuments.. tried making a folder oxide/data/BetterNpc/Monument/Harbour also tried another folder place in > oxide/data/BetterNpc/Harbour for example and tried to add a few bots but nothing, tried all Default monument names but no luck.

I can add oxide/data/BetterNpc/Custom by ingame commands, but that means i have to add bots manually every month to each new map we use?...

Why aren't you using the default Harbors?

You cannot add anything to the Monument folder the monument should already be there except for the ferry terminal and a few others.

You could create Custom locations and then change the location based on the new location and rotation of a monument on a new map and leave the rest of the profile in tact as far as map to map changes.

The folder under Monuments is empty no Harbour/dome etc all empty?  Maybe i miisread but i thought i had to add my own folders etc for the default monuments?

Those files come with the download. Move all of the folders and files from the download and you can edit them from there.

The Custom folder will be empty by default. Some maps will come with custom files or you can create your own and they will go here.

By the way, I don't know how to set up the CH47 NPC on the oil rig. Could you please explain it to me?

Another issue has come up... The L96 on the player's side is too powerful. Is there a way to disable damage beyond a certain set distance? I believe this feature is implemented in BetterBoss, but is it impossible with BetterNPC?

I'm sorry, one more thing: Does the Aim Cone Scale setting reduce aiming accuracy when set to a lower value? Snipers seem to have high accuracy. Does aiming accuracy decrease further when removing the scope?

There actually is not a modifier for the Chinook that comes. The Chinook file you referenced is for the Hackable Locked Crates dropped by a Chinook, the default Facepunch event. It will add guards to the Hackable Crates when they are dropped by Chinook.

BetterNpc would be difficult to implement this as far as performance, as every NPC on the map would need to be tracked with their distance from players constantly. This is much easier to do for more restricted situations or plugins. This is not an option for BetterNpc.

No apologies necessary. Think of it this way, smaller cone in regards to their shots. So making a smaller cone will make it more accurate. A large cone will allow them to miss more.

Just something to keep in mind, this will be a Safe Zone at least when the ferry approaches and leaves. A custom file can be made for the location but I wanted to mention that, although it may be some time yet before it is in effect and it may be some time still after that where non official servers can use it.

You can create a Custom set for this location.

When the terminal goes live it will only work on official servers until it is modded to work with other servers. But the ferry itself will be a safe zone so keep that in mind for the future.

Update to 1.2.6 a patch was released just after 1.2.5. Let us know if you still have any issues then.

There are a couple ways but let me explain first why it happens. There are several plugins that use the hook when there is an air supply drop. This error is generally harmless in most instances but it is in regards multiple plugins using that hook at the same time. If you notice specific issues along with the error please let us know.

Otherwise one thing you could do is go into the events folder and disable this one.

Might be nothin but it could be an issue in some circumstances. These errors are usually due to more than one plugin using those hooks at the same time. BetterNpc will give this error to let you know. Most of the time it actually still runs the mini events with NPCs but some times it will not work or it will create NPCs in places you may or may not want. It could be as easy a fix as disabling the related event in BetterNpc, just depends on if there is an error in the plugins running properly and whether that is an issue or not for you.

If you want to dig deeper into it you can jump into the Mad Mapper Discord to create a ticket and share a list of plugins or discuss what plugins you think it would be interacting with the same hook and we could look for a fix.

The NPC's will 2 tap me. Generic Body shot about 50hp each. Is there a way to reduce their damage across the all NPCs? I've received complaints from players that they're too OP. Looking for some help to balance these guys to maybe around normal NPC difficulty.
