Hey, that sounds to me like you was using ingame editor and didnt close edit mode properly. When editing panels you should exit by pressing R key and not by clicking close button while editing template. If this happens again just reload plugin and you should be fine.

WelcomePanel is core plugins which on it's own can display just text and images. Addons are giving you option to add few "interactive" sections like Kits, Social Links... -

Hey, it happens because you didnt properly close formatting tag at the end of the line. I recommend you adding lines one by one and then reloading plugin to see when it breaks, that way you'll find where the mistake was made.
