The idea that because Facepunch decided to recreate the landscape - legacy buyers are forced to pay for a second time is flawed and brings up an interesting situation regarding purchase content. The "...anyone purchased the "old" map 6 months ago and can it for free while anyone that purchased the map 1-2-3 years ago has to pay 9.99" is completely flawed - which brings up the situation that any time any creator can simply circumvent any and all rules at any time and force you to pay. "Oh, you can just not buy the map" -- Okay fine, give me my $34.99 - back then....It wasn't even an option. Either pay and extra $10 or stick with a non-usbale broken map. I don't usually leave reviews, but I couldn't allow the so-called "5-star" review to exist without actual interesting and frustration of the situation and only giving a cookie-cutter and false rating. Response: I'm not going to keep it going after this - but the messages you are showing aren't they asking for a birthday discount if possible? My review wasn't solely based on the map itself, again, rather a response to how the situation and map was handled. CF also has the option(s) for renewal terms (shown below) if you would have picked the second option - no one would be saying anything right now. Here or in discord, but you didn't. You picked the first option. Where is the protection for the buyer, if at any point, creators can just change their mind and terms when ever they feel like it?
