Perfect. I'll be putting this on my main server starting Halloween on out. I think the players are gonna love it. Possibly having to fight yourself after you die? So cool 🙂

What happens to the original dead body/bag/loot?  Super interested in this plugin, but want to understand that before buying.

the inventory belt and wear items stay on the body (unless using RestoreUponDeath)
it is for now to avoid duping just cloning the outfit and adding the name to the spawned NPC.
the new npc will not be able to get clothing looted just a pregenerated vanilla inventory or whatever you may set with any loot plugin.

So I'm just now noticing this. But if this plugin is running, it prevents NPCKits from working. If I unload walking dead and reload npc kits they all get the kits I applied to them.

this aplies to all npc or just the walkers from this plugin ?its ment to block the kits from the NPCKits to be aplyed to the walkers.

The Walkers are fine. They're working perfectly.

The BotSpawn NPCs and the ones running under the ZombieHorde plugin are fine as well.


It's the Vanilla ones that are setup under NPCKits. The Murderers are naked and the Scientists are in their default blues. They should have specific kits applied to them depending on the type that they are. But when WalkingDead is running, they're all default. It's not giving any error in console. They're just not getting their kits applied.

just tested it and spawned some random npc in and it worked normaly .
NpcKits aplyed to the spawned npc's
Did u update NPCKits and checked if profiles are set tot true again ?

NPCKits is current. And all intended profiles are active. I know I have to unload WalkingDead to make NPCKits to work. But is there something I should be looking for in other plugins that may be causing this?

Okay. So I shut the server down. Pulled everything. And now I'm just running Kits, WalkingDead and NPCKits, and I'm still having the same issue. All plugins are current. I downloaded everything again just to make sure. I even wiped the NPCKits config to make sure nothing was wrong in there. And nothing changed.

I have no idea what's wrong on my end.

If it were really possible to make an optical copy (walker) of the killed player, the plugin would be an instant buy

also, it would be great if you could add the option to let them spawn when corpse turns into backback (& clears it), including the players loot

it uses the outfit of the player incl skins.

for bug exploits i did not add the option to copy inventory of the player.
the walker is a exact copy incl name outfit/skins only it has mellee weapon equiped.
u can see if its a walker due the  "walker" tag it has infront of the player name

Loving the plugin. Thought I'd drop by and show the console output that comes up occasionally. Usually see it come up 2x, then stops. Not gamebreaking or spammy, just an occasional exception error.

Figured out it only happens when someone dies inside a raidable base, or suicide inside their own. Shows 2x since I've set the config to spawn 2 🙂

so when its having it wanting to spawn on a foundation i guess.
ill see if i can build something in to prevent that or have it spawn ferther outside
Sucks so bad bots cant walk on it ^^

It just kicks them out of the base. Then they usually run into a zombiehorde and get into a fight 😉 Funny to watch.

 

This is one of my fav plugins for sure. Worth a lil more than you're charging, I believe. ✌️

doing some testing with that.
adding a check to see if it spawns inside a base and will disable the spawn (sillent kill) and notify it in console.
 

[Walking Dead] walker[2110121] was not spawned beceause it wanted to spawn inside

yeah i use it on my own server(s) too and regarding price i just want it to be worth it and not being overpriced so even a lowbudget server could afford it.
+ half of the sales is donated back to codefling website since they a awsome bunch and very helpfull
