hello, ive been looking at this on your testing server. and noticed some of the UI has alot of like halo effect which makes it hard to look at, is it possible for server owners to change that?

I added an "Optimize Mode" to it which will come with the next update. Disables double-layering, aka the glow.

Hey there, sorry about that. I'll be pushing an update very soon which contains more phrases with the updated language files.

Could also keep an eye on the translation site as I am adding more translated phrases for multiple languages if you're interested to translate in the language you want.

Absolutely beautiful plugin. 

Question:
Since this plugin has two primary systems: Social Media Network & Marketplace; on my server we added a slight modification to the plugin to disable the Marketplace feature, as we have a custom economy with other marketplace-related features with which Ruster's marketplace conflicts, even though we do love how it's done. However by making the modification, we of course lose access to all the updates you've made/are making to the core plugin unless we add the marketplace disable with each new update, which is frequent, making it not realistic to do so.

Would it be possible to add a "disable marketplace" feature into core plugin itself, for those of us that love the "Social Network" system, but want/need to disable the Marketplace system? Since as it is now, they're bundled together, even though not every server is set up to use both at once, and some servers (like mine) would love to continue still using the Social Media Network system. Thanks much in advance for this brilliant plugin and in general for your brilliant, original, and creative contributions to the Rust modding community!

Really appreciate the kind words. And yes, I think that's a perfectly fair request and it would give owners more options to make the plugin run suiting their needs. This will come in the next update!

Just a general note, please do not modify the code. If you want a change, make a request like this and you'll most likely have it implemented (if it's something that would benefit everyone)! Much love.

Since it's an early concept, it still needs more polishing for it to work as I want it to, but it only is accessible when you're in any Underwater Labs. When you are there, use the chat command /rusterblackmarket to pull it up.

Working on expanding all the current systems so they're more user &/or developer-friendly, like creating DM groups and inviting players to them, using the Contacts system, to easily add people as a friend and keep in touch.

Notifications are going to be reworked (not too much, they're not all that bad as of now), like get notified when a friend or a followed user restocked their listings.

Following threads/posts and users (get notified when they get liked/replied to), and the long anticipated Ruster.NET Addons, which is basically the Ruster.NET API, allowing developers to override feeds, images, colors, everything really.

Flea Market will be accessible only by verified servers, which prices will be relative to the servers' stack-size/multipliers.

Verified servers will require a form to get those perks.

You are taking away the Marketplace?

Or is the Flea Market a separate/new thing?

Flea Market's a new optional feature, comes out soon. 🙂 The Marketplace will be there always.

I'm confused about the photos. I make a post with a photo and when I'm done, the pop up window shows the photo but when I close it, the photo doesn't show on the feed. I only see the text of the post. What am I doing wrong?

Not possible to see it within the feed as of now, due to resizing limitations. You must open up the full post to see the picture.

Thanks for the response. I need help with the marketplace. I've gotten as far as selecting the item I want to sell but I can't figure out how to edit what I want for it.

Also, I don't see the internet browser/feature. Where is that?

Can you explain the marketplace a little better? When I open the Marketplace, I have an option to buy a 24h ad or a 1 week ad, but I can still post things for sale on there without that. When I buy a 24h or 1 week ad, I get a piece of paper in my inventory. This just seems a little confusing.

Another issue... my posts are disappearing on the community feed. I posted something last night and now it's not there. My Marketplace listing is also gone that I posted last night. Am I missing a step? Am I supposed to be using the SQL database? It seemed like that was an optional step because it wasn't really explained very well.

So purchased and active advertisments will show up on most of the feeds (that being players' feeds, any other feeds than the marketplace), your advertisments will be promoted and as more people will see them which increases the chances for your sales exponentially (especially when the marketplace is flooded with many posts) and your posts aren't being noticed enough.

Yes, you get the 2 items in your inventory, drag and drop them on your belt bar and press the corresponding number to select the slot, Ruster.NET's UI should pop up which will look like any other New Post setup but that is exclusively creating an advert out of your sold listing.

SQL is not mandatory, it's just another way to save/restore the data from Ruster.NET. At the moment Ruster.NET is not designed to work with multiple servers using the same database for it, but I am planning in the future to be able to do that. Disappearing posts can be caused by a number of reasons, are there any pointer references you could provide me with? Any console errors around that time frame? They should never disappear if you have not wiped the data file.
