It's frustrating that when adjusting boss difficulty or adding new bosses while running the server, we have to reload the plugin itself and respawn all bosses.

If we could do this individually instead of for all bosses, it would make operations much easier!

Thanks for this great plugin.
Tip for a new feature:
Restrict some players, for example, they can only kill certain boss monsters once a day.
We use different bosses for different quests.
We have quests where every boss counts and there is a quest that can only be completed by killing a specific boss.
We want to restrict that specific boss.
If the player has killed that boss once that day already, he should get a message that he can kill him again after ..h ..m.

After the update, for some reason, the bosses stopped spawning automatically, and I had to reload the plugin. What could be the reason for this?
is this related to npc spawn or better npc ?

Are all the other NPCs working correctly for you? Events? Does BetterNpc fill the monuments? If so, then no, maybe you changed something in the Bosses settings, or you just didn't wait for them to spawn?

I've noticed that bosses disappear after updating your npc spawn or better npc plugins, or rather, when they are reloaded, and I have to reload the plugin for the bosses to appear. Since you update the NPC plugins 10 times a day, this creates an unpleasant situation 😞

Yes, you're right, unloading or reloading the NpcSpawn plugin naturally affects this, but you wrote after the update, in the current situation, I understood this as a transition from older versions of plugins to a major update. You can read the information for each update, and if you are not concerned about what was fixed in the last update, update when it is convenient for you, there is nothing wrong with that, you should not immediately ruin the entire server operation when the plugin is released, unless there are good reasons for it. I will discuss with the developer the point you mentioned, whether there is a way to make Bosses have a timer to appear if they have retired due to NpcSpawn's unload / reload, but in any case it will be like a future plugin improvement, this will not happen in the shortest possible time, so you can stick to my first advice.

Hello, please do not mislead other users with deliberately false reviews, your ticket ( https://codefling.com/files/support/24814-either-crashes-or-doesnt-load/ ) was closed only because you did not respond to it for 19 days, and before that you also did not show any interest in solving the problem, but even after it was closed, you could write to it and start solve the problem instead of attracting the attention of a low-rated review. I understand that you created it on October 22, 2025, and I answered you for the first time only on December 10, because I started helping KpucTaJI with it only then, and I apologize for that. You can see for yourself how the dialogue went on. Your problem has nothing to do with performance or the load queue of plugins, because in fact, the plugin has 12 NPCs (Bosses) by default, and spawns a total of 5, which is just a meager load.


Check the CustomMap folder (carbon/data/BossMonster/CustomMap/), if you are using Procedural Map, you can simply delete all files from it and reload the plugin.


If problems remain, please send the logs when downloading the plugin again. Also specify the NpcSpawn version and attach the NpcSpawn configuration file.

Can we replace the ai of the bosses withe the new ai? They are easily cheesed. Everyone kills them easy even if they have high health. They just do not have good ai.

Try to put them in special places or play with the settings. If you have specific examples of some situations, you can share them, we will try to do something with them, if possible.

That is true. Everyone just half wall them! Even with special places they get stuck and players will shoot them freely without the boss response.

Is the NPC AI used by BossMonster currently the same as the one used by BetterNPC?
I understand that BetterNPC was recently updated to version 2.0 — are the new configuration options introduced in BetterNPC also available for BossMonster?
