Спасибо, что актуально, и именно так должен действовать плагин. Я считаю, что в старых версиях не было этого исправления, и лодка могла подойти. Но это вызывает другие проблемы, и лодка застревает внутри грузового корабля, и это становится беспорядком. У вас была другая идея для того, что вы считаете фиксированным? Это проблема, если их не уничтожают честно. Но также есть планы по добавлению NPC на грузовой корабль, по крайней мере, в будущем, возможно, появятся еще идеи.

Thank you that is current and that is how the plugin should act. I believe older versions did not have this fix and the boat could approach. But this causes other issues and the boat will get stuck inside the cargo ship and it becomes a mess. Did you have another idea for what you would consider fixed? This is a problem if they are not destroyed honestly. But there are also plans to add NPCs to the Cargo Ship at least in the future, maybe more ideas will occur.

Hi,

I really love the plugin idea, looks and sounds great and aims to do something unique, well done for that! 

The Plugin name alone is misleading, please consider changing it,  but you must remove this highlighted part from the plugin description:

"Water Patrol is a plugin that spawns in NPC-controlled RHIBS that patrols the ocean and coastline searching for players. Once engaged, players have the choice to attack them for loot or flee for their lives!"

As I have read all the discussions and descriptions, this not what the plugin does. The RHIB's sit around waiting for players to attack, there is no patrol.

This is incredibly misleading because I would have purchased the plugin based on the idea of a Patrol, which is absolutely not what this does.
If this has been changed in the an update I don't see in the changelog, then please do let me know.

Honestly if anyone is to blame it is probably me. I do translations for the team and sometimes when I am translating a plugin I haven't actually done much with yet, I am guessing at what's happening and how to explain things. I probably read the translation which was more accurate and said.. well that doesn't make sense so I made it sound to your point, a bit more like they actually actively patrol.

I will make one technicality point, to say that they truly are always patrolling, they don't have to be moving to be patrolling, and depending on the configuration they can patrol a pretty large area. They just aren't moving around constantly 'looking' for players it would be an incredible resource drain to have them moving constantly.

If they don't seem to be noticing or chasing players much I'd play with the config and give them more room to see and chase.

I still plan to suggest and help create some adjustments to how it is worded to make sure that not only perhaps it is more clear, but that there is a noticeable note stating that they do not move and that they just spawn at random around the water areas on the map.

I understand your perspective and have no problem with that, translation can be difficult.

Regardless, it is not a patrol - there is no patrolling. I understand why this is difficult to do and resource consuming but it doesn't change what the plugin actually does.

Here's a few phrases off the top of my head,  Boat Pirates, Ocean Mercs.   RHIB Mercenaries,  Bounty Hunters,  Boat Scavengers,  why not play around with those names, mix the m up -   something to work with but you get the point, it gives the right impression and doesn't mislead. 
Functionality like a "Patrol" is anticipated by a buyer if its in the name and the description.

Any time, no problem. This is less of a perspective and much more of a fact though. 😉

To add to the facts though honestly I think what had happened as we discussed it some already, is that I translated all of the text prior to the plugins release obviously which I always do, and perhaps I translated it before some of the final testing was done. This was discussed in the community and there was no disagreement to the patrols being idol until someone enters their radius.

Agree to disagree in regards to their patrolling because while yes patrols are usually going to be moving, these guys are mobile if you cross them, and they are doing their primary duty of watching over an area. No need to go back and forth on that though it's debatable but it will be addressed soon anyway. I acknowledged your point the first time.

The plugin title I can pretty much guarantee you is not going to change. Too many people already own the plugin with the current name.

I did say that I was going to address some of the changes to the plugin as there have been a couple this month, and the description gets updated usually more for things like new commands, or removing and adding parameters stuff like that. I'll help to write a new description that highlights some of the new features like being able to add custom spawn locations which was recently added. Obviously we will otherwise address and clarify the way the plugin works, what it does and doesn't do especially in regards to the patrolling debate.

Check what versions of this and NpcSpawn you are running. Are either out of date, or did you change anything in config recently?

I have 2 suggestions:

1. an option in the config to set the time until another patrol boat spawns (to not make them spawn instantly after one dies)

2. Make the driver more (intelligent) and instead of just driving towards the attacker and stop the boat make him steer and drive around the attacker.

   This would make it less easy to shoot the patrol npc's cause they won't just stand still.

Good morning. I tested the link in another browser (Chrome) and it worked. In my Firefox it was giving error. Grateful for the attention.

Something wrong with new update, it spawns hundreds of them and lags server out

I'm having the same problem. Hundreds of boats and the server goes to 1 fps.
