Hey Steen 🙂
I use tea-modifiers from umod on my server, is it possible to have vanilla scrap from the loot tables, so the scrap tea will give the buff and not the customloot? hope my question makes sense.

Best regards

I can try 😛 I mean the teas dont buff the scrap since the custom loot plugin already does that. is it possible for me to have scrap set at vanilla rates so only the teas players drink let  them get more scrap from the barrels?
"scrap": {
        "probability": 1,
        "minStack": 100,
        "maxStack": 150,
        "skins": [],
        "IncludeAllApprovedSkins": false
      },

its the barrel loot, and if the stacks is set to 0 0 it seems to not spawn scrap at all. I want the barrel to have vanilla scrap, and let tea modifiers control how much scrap is dropped.
Sorry for my bad english,
*Best regards
Luuxen*

I think I understand.
Basically you want CustomLoot to have an option to put vanilla scrap amounts in containers, instead of you specifying some other amount?

If that's what it is then yeah, I think we do do that. 🙂

Give this a bash?
Each loottable should now have a Spawn_Vanilla_Scrap option which you can set to true.

You'll still need to have the probabilities set up so scrap spawns, or add it to the Always_Spawn_List.

Does anyone have a good 2X loot table config for this plugin to share with like, normal junk removed? And with Vanilla item grouping as well?

Hi,
If you set "allowChristmas": true, at the top of your loottable, it will then contain all the christmas items including xmas.lightstring and xmas.lightstring.advanced.

When you make the change you'll need to reload CustomLoot so that it update the loot table json file.

I seen in the comments that people wanted to name items  has that option been added  like ?

"attire.hide.vest": {  name " Ranbo vest "
        "probability": 0,
        "minStack": 1,
        "maxStack": 1,
        "skins": [],
        "IncludeAllApprovedSkins": false

Hi,
No, I'm afraid not.

CustomLoot doesn't really work like the vanilla system so it's probably not ideal if you're looking for slight deviations from, or multiples of, vanilla.
If you have a very specific idea of what you want to see in certain containers, CustomLoot might be the plugin for those containers. 👍

I mean I'm fine with modifying the loot tables to say "not include" ABC items, and then only include XYZ items. I've worked with Magic Loot and Better Loot as well. I hate how Better Loot only controls the "rarity" of items globally in all items. I'd like to create categories of loot, and set probabilities of that loot. Which sounds like Custom Loot can do, right? Do you have ANY sample config files to share?

I don't have any sample loottables, no. A default/newly created loottable from CustomLoot provides zero loot, so you start every table from scratch dialling in what you want.
Maybe someone else here would be willing to share some of their tables?

CustomLoot does a two tier thing, where you lay out probabilities for item categories,
then you do probabilities for all the items in each category.

You could make it extremely likely that you get something from resources rather than tools,
but then make it extremely unlikely that you could scrap over wood, for example.

It runs this process for every item that is created.

All of those are already covered by CustomLoot. 👍
