Sorry, buddy. I know this question might seem really dumb. I want to add a BOSS NPC to my map. But what I did was find my own coordinates, for example (-1689.92, 5.03, 1731.79). I found the NPC configuration file in the Data folder, and then I wrote this in the "List of monument locations":

"List of monument locations": [
  "(-1689.92, 5.03, 1731.79)"
]

Then I reloaded the plugin, but it gave an error. I don’t know how to properly configure this. Please help me out!

I purchased it from lone.design. Since no one has replied to my message there, I wanted to submit it here and give it a try. I can provide an order screenshot.

Not a dumb question. Have to start somewhere!

So to use the Boss file coordinates you will just use the command in the Description. But only do this if you are placing the Boss at a Facepunch default monument.

For any custom map location and any custom monument, where you want the location to always be the same, use the custom map option. There is an example file to give you an idea of what it looks like. Remove any that are using monument spawn points by command, and leave the ones you want to give a custom spawn point. You can remove the ID to use this on any map, in the top of the data config file, which you can name anything or even leave as example. Then just remember to update the NPC with a custom spawn point between maps, or they will otherwise spawn somewhere randomly.

Just use the command listed in the Description to add whichever boss you want to have spawn there.

Quote

/SavePos <name> - saves a new position to the configuration file for the boss with the name - name, relative to the nearest monument

Hello, when sending a message to a chat, for example, when the boss appears, an empty square with the rust logo appears, I want my picture to be there, how do I change it, I changed it in all plugins, only this one remains

I've been using it for a long time and have never had any problems, but this season I made a boss appear for the first time and defeated it, and all of the bosses only had around 5-7 loot items, so the loot table is pretty low.

I haven't modified any of the settings, and the loot table hasn't been changed either.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Evil bosses and bosses with melee weapons don't attack at all, and don't throw molotovs.

Other guns, wolf companions, skills, etc. work fine.

Is there any way to fix this?

The settings are still at default.

Did you buy it from Lone Design instead?

@KpucTaJl

I asked in the EpicLoot plugin whether the boss loot could be customized when a boss is defeated, and they told me that it has to be configured on the BossMonster side.
Do you know how to set that up?

You would need to add the item into the loot table of the BossMonster profile I assume (I don't own it so unsure).
The format of the display name needs to be correct though: Reinforced hoodie [S 0.05]

Hello, yes, but you are specifying the name just for convenience, so that the item has improvements with Epic Loot, you need to specify for each improved item the SkinID of the same one that you use in Epic Loot.

I believe epic loot is name only.

so in that case if i want a legendary item from itemperkslegendaryitems to drop, the name and skin matching that - would it drop with the perks for example ;

Yes, that's right. In plugins, to add any special properties to items, they use a check for shortname and SkinID, SkinID is a unique identifier, if you find any skin for any item in the workshop and insert your values into the link, for example, as you indicated in rifle.bolt, then you will go to the page of this Skin, as a rule there will be the picture you see in the game is on the icon of the item with this SkinID. But there are situations when you don't need a picture and developers just use any SkinID so that the plugin can distinguish two identical objects for its own purposes to interact with the correct one, this is done in the plugin code, then when you substitute the SkinID in the link, you won't find anything.

Hello, if the problem is still relevant to you, provide the data file of one of the Bosses from oxide/data/BossMonster/Bosses/, whose loot you do not like and indicate your wishes, I will try to help you.

Hello, most likely you have made some mistake in the Bosses or CustomMap folder files located in the directory oxide/data/BossMonster, if the problem is still relevant to you, you can provide your BossMonster folder from oxide/data and I will try to help you.

Evil bosses and bosses with melee weapons don't attack at all, and don't throw molotovs.

Other guns, wolf companions, skills, etc. work fine.

Is there any way to fix this?

The settings are still at default.

Hello, is the problem still there for you?

como puedo cuadrar el drop de los boses de una manera practica y facil ?

Hello, I'm afraid this is not possible.. but I'll discuss it with the developer later.

Would there be a way to make one or 2 of these bosses bigger (in scale/size) ?

Hello, no, as far as I know, this is currently not possible for NPCs, either in Oxide or Carbon.

Hello, above we have analyzed an example of adding custom items, won't this help you solve your problem? If not, please state your wishes in more detail, I don't quite understand what the problem is, thank you.
