Hmmm. Maybe it was the command to clear the chat, but fixing that didn't change anything. Eventually I pressed the wheel and nothing happened.

Thanks to a special bug just for me, this plugin is probably half the fun of everyone else's! haha

Hello. When using the mailbox disappears from the right. Then the loot icon freezes.

loaded latest  version  cant open anything no  open prompts cept for yellow car and then the loot window drops and quick craft appears

tried  fuel no prompt,  tool chest  no prompt boxes no prompt

When I try to open things it opens, shows the loot and then force closes the window to show there is nothing there.  I have better loot and FastLoot installed and uninstalling both did not solve the issue. I just paid for this, i fyou could fix it I would appreciate it

With the latest version, that shouldn't happen anymore. It rolls back to the way the plugin worked before. If there are servers that are willing to test and use AsyncMode (in the config, if it doesn't exist, you can add the property) to get smoother calls on player interactions with prefabs.

Please make sure your servers run at least more than 40FPS on average (especially if you have >5 players at once and hundreds of plugins) so the server can catch up on updating all the plugins and their behavior.

It seems to work now.  Thanks.  You mentioned suggesting new things that could have loot?  I walked around Oregon - Land of the Dead map and found some things that could have implementation with your plugin.  There were also some assets for tanks that could have tech trash or something similar.

Loads of awesome suggestions! The table's updated with a few more prefabs but will add your recommendations as well, thanks! If you have any specific ideas for what to be expected to be found in those containers, let me know.

Thanks for the quick response.  I don't know how common tanks are in the game, I just know that they are in the map that I am using but it would make sense that they would have tech trash because of onboard computer systems and whatnot.  That could be the case with any destroyed airplane or helicopter assets too.  Police cars could also have tech trash as they also have onboard computer systems.  

Some containers that appear to contain rock could yield rock, the pile of hay could have something like hemp, although I dont think that makes sense, and maybe things like pallets of wood and other such wooden things could yield small bits of wood.  As someone who comes from playing a lot of 7 Days to Die where literally everything is harvestable, this mod is awesome at helping to bridge the gap between them and enhance the simulation aspect that I am trying to provide on my server.

Anyway, the red gas canister should probably have lowgrade or crude oil, the barrels could have anything like raw fish or berries or something that makes sense.  The small taped up boxes look like something that would be used by a company attempting to ship office supplies so maybe something of that nature (telephones, paper products).

Tank could have tech trash
Broken heli could have tech trash and metal frags
These barrels could have oil, etc
Canisters could have oxygen tanks
Some small container of some kind, not sure what it is
Pile of beancan grenades inside satchel charges, could have 1 beancan or some components for beancan

I have some players reporting lag and I noticed I am getting this spammed in the console  "Calling 'OnPlayerInput' on 'StaticLootables v2.0.9' took average" and then a number such as 5230ms.  Any help with this?  It also seems to have booted players from the game due to the server load.

I enabled Async mode.  I will see if that changes anything.  For the record I am using ZombieHorde plugin with 4000 zombies on the map.  Sounds like a lot but it does not impact performance because they only proc when you are within range and they respawn every hour so you only encounter a few dozen at most at a time.  But that is the heaviest plugin I am using currently.  CPU is at 25.  Memory is at 55.  I also have about 100 other plugins running and could send a list if it becomes useful.  Everything has been pretty smooth until now.

I lose a lot of fps due to plugin. A pity I really liked the plugin.

Yeah I cant use it in the state that is in.  Someone I met today has a server running something which seems based on the same code and it works fine.  It works fine until I presume all the containers reload and then I get console spam that ruins the performance.

Whenever the containers reload, they're actually get wiped from memory. They're only created whenever someone interacts with the said lootable container. How do you mean "has a server running something which seems based on the same code"? Is that a modified version of Static Lootables?

What does "Calling 'OnPlayerInput' on 'StaticLootables v2.0.9' took average" refer to?  It did it seemingly after an certain amount of time on the server which I assumed was when containers were refilling.

I sent you a message about the other plugin.

I decreased the amount of zombies 4000 to 1000 and  I installed the plugin  while people were online and it kicked everyone out.  When people rejoined it caused lag and so I uninstalled it again.   Is there anything that could be done to improve the performance?  My server FPS ranges from 26 to 50 with it mostly in the higher ranges.  Is there a way to increase CPU usage for Rust to make your mod perform better or is there something you can do to decrease the resource requirements?  Never had any issue with any other plugins causing performance issues like this.

Can you explain "SpawnChanceTimes" and "SpawnChanceScale"?

I want to adjust the changes for items to spawn. I'd like to be able to set a percentage chance of anything to spawn in these containers globally. The default config lets too much loot spawn.

So far i boosted my server fps limit from 25 to 50, now i do not seem to have problem since 2 days.

Im using v2.0.11

How did you boost you frames?  Is it possible to release a version that is less demanding on hardware, perhaps by extending refresh times or whatever would cause loading?

AsyncMode basically does that, it only refreshes when the server inhaled/exhaled/ticked succesfully, relative to the framerate of the server. Having the fps.limit set to something above or equal to 50 is probably ideal for quicker refreshing and synchronizing all the clients with the servers and vice-versa.

I will try to load the server with the plugin and see if that gives better results than just dropping the plugin into the folder while its running.  But I still don't know what the Calling 'OnPlayerInput error messages it was giving mean.

I'm having an issue where there's a massive black box with rust's logo over all the lootables that take up half the screen. Says something about an imgur invalid url in the logs, is there a fix for this?

i just edited my server config file

...\server\YOURSERVERNAME\cfg\server.cfg
in the config file, fps.limit 50
mine was set to fps.limit 25
