SkillTree Plugin: A Game-Changing Addition to Rust Servers

The SkillTree plugin is a powerful tool that adds a dynamic character progression system to any Rust server, providing players with a more immersive and engaging experience. At its core, the plugin introduces a leveling and skill tree system, allowing players to gain experience (XP) by performing various in-game activities such as cutting trees, mining rocks, and killing NPCs. The BEST plugin by far. It brings a whole new meaning to the game, saying it's a game changer is an understatement. Gives you the ability to have skills and attributes that you find in so many other games. But brought to life in Rust in its own unique way by giving the players something else to grind for.

This is easily one of the best plugins available in terms of:

- Impact to the game.

- Quality of the UI, configuration files and code.

- Configurability and flexibility.

- Support and on-going improvements.

- Documentation and video explanations/tutorials.

The level of care and attention to detail is amazing and it is a real gem in the plugin market. 

You will absolutely not regret purchasing this plugin, it is well worth every cent.

FELL IN LOVE INMEDIATELY! No UI but CFG is easy to read, you just need patience.
Much more appropriate for a PVP server.
Developer is HIGHLY RESPONSIVE.

A must have Plugin for any server to make things way more exciting and in depth! Adds a whole new gameplay element to Rust! This is definitely a favorite plugin for all of my players, everyone loves it. I'd 100% recommend this!

Amazing Plugin I was Running Another Skill Plugin And Rp plugin just to make my own leveling system this replaced almost 5 to 6 plugins right away from my server very easy to use swapped all my skills in 3 hours top an i had alot of them made many new skill trees very easy as the videos and support was amazing 10 out of 10 stars!!

Great plugin, a lot of configuration. Some of the skills require fine-tuning because they are overpowered. I loved it.

Absolutely one of the BEST plugins ever released! 
I can't recommend this plugin enough. If you are running a PvE server, or some sort of role play and want that added progression / grind / extra things for your players to do.  This is it!!!!!!! 

Everything within is customizable.  You can even add custom skills that turn other plugins on or off.  For example, simple symmetry as a skill tree node.  
There are videos on YT from Imthenewguy showcasing this. 
But again, super customizable and really enjoyable to use! 
Very easy to set up and understand! 

Also, Imthenewguys is very quick to release updates and fixes where necessary.
Love this plugin!! It is a must! 

I love it, the players love it, and best of all I didn't have to ask a million questions on how to reconfigure if needed. I highly recommend this plugin. Works great on PVE as it gives the players something to work toward.

This plugin is a lifesaver. Players were running out of things to do on our monthly server, but then I added the skill tree! Now players continue to play longer into wipes, grinding their skills out. We have skills set to wipe every 6 months, meaning players keep their skills over wipe! Really great plugin with active development and tons of great updates.

Works perfectly. Adds a whole new game play to our server. Worth every penny.

This plugin is super amazing, beats the other plugins by miles. Very configurable and ties in with other plugins very well. The dev is super helpful as well and very quick to respond to issues.

As a new server owner, this plugin was super easy to setup and implement.

Lets be honest. If you are a server owner in the market for a skill progression system, you have 2 choices.  After owning Enchanting, and seeing how extensive and well thought out the coding was.....it was an easy sell. 

The players are grinding again, and were 3 weeks into wipe!

Easily the most fun way to add progression to your server. Very customizable. You can always remove perks you think are overpowered on your server, adjust values, level progression, and more. Highly recommend!

THIS should be one of those $50 plugins. SO MUCH WORK went into this for it to work flawlessly. My players absolutely love these skill trees. Looks much better than any other skill tree type plugins plus it has constant updates to support many other plugins

A must-have for any server. Very versatile and fully customizable to adjust max levels of skills, the percentage of buff per level and even add your own custom content. You even have full control over XP sources and can disable any source(s) you wish. Highly recommend this plugin, author is very quick to respond to any reported issues, and it is getting better each update.

Beautifully thought out XP system along with UI and player features, keeps players happy and busy all through wipes. Highly customizable and configurable even allowing you to create your own Skills and trees!

Active dev that takes in user requests and ideas, if you have ever considered adding an extra layer to your server I highly recommend this gem.

This plugin Is well made and works perfect. Its just amazing!
You get so many opportunities on your server with this plugin.
You can adjust every skill as you see fit for your own server, and you can even add your own skills.
Im running a PvE server with alot of quality of life plugins like spawning minicopter, nightvision, different building commands and such.....
All these i have added into the skilltree instead of giving it to players for free.
Players now need to spend time on the server and gain xp to get skillpoints to unlock features.
If you put your time and effort into balancing  the skills correct, players on your server will love it.
The developer is super friendly and are answering questions customers may have and he also listen to feedbacks and ideas  peoples may have.
I have had 2 wishes come true since i bought this plugin 2 1/2 months ago

I could extol the plugin to no end:

• It adds progression to your server (XP, Skill Points, Level based rewards)
• Customisable Skill Trees (Harvesting, Mining, Combat....your own)
• Perm based skills (want your players to have vanish.use when they unlock a particular skill? Well you can)
• A whole heap of nice fresh new functionality in the form of Ultimates
• The most intuitive UI for moving stuff around (more plugins should take note. No need to learn anchors)
• The Dev is active. Super active. Listens to feedback and implements it! (xp and sp based items, level based rewards...etc)

On our server, Sunset Valley, we have revamped our progression system with this plugin (using perms on skill trees to unlock content via CustomisableButtons). Now with the level based rewards update, we can give those unlocks alongside the skillpoints.

Example use:

Just hit Level 5 -> You've unlocked the Chad skill tree , where you can unlock ziplines, parachuts and buyable raids defences.
Got spare skill points but need sulfur -> Invest them in the Mining tree for higher yields and chances for nodes to instantly respawn
Don't need the sulfur -> How about you put them in the combat tree to get damage bonuses against Scientists?
Level 10 -> You can now buy Easy and Medium raid bases
Level 15 -> Need some end game gear? Epicloot drops are now activated
Level 26 -> Get your first ultimate and locate nodes within a defined radius or maybe get bonus powers from killing animals.

This makes your vanilla Rust experience a fresh customised mint-choc-chip-raspberry-swirl-with-whipped-cream-with-cherry-on-top one.

Amazing plugin, Must have for PvE servers. Players love it. Easy to set up. Plugin maker is quick to reactions and help 5/5 thank you.

This plugin I can't say enough about. I debated this one with my mods and finally just grabbed it. The players all love this, and I can't blame them.

Some of the skills feel a little heavy-handed but due to the skill point limit, they require you to work with your team to really get your group bonuses going.

I can't even explain how much this plugin adds to your server. Combine this with some of his other plugins like EpicLoot, and you're halfway to an RPG in rust.

Alot of Skills, most of them are quite unique and interesting on a Players perspective !
My players felt in love with that so if you're still using another "skill" or "experience" plugin switch for this one you won't be disapointed !
Amazing plugin!

I had been searching for a replacement for ZLevels for a while.
Tried a decent number of options. Some better than others.
But they seemed to fall short, were a little confusing or buggy.
Not saying they were all bad. They just didn't meet the needs for my server.
So I always wound up looping back to Zlevels.
I've been running this plugin for several wipes now and the players are in love with it.
I could go on and on about how great it looks and how easy it is to use (for both the player and owner/admin).
But the video and description tab does all that for you.

Only had to make a few tweaks from the default config which shows the dev put a lot of thought into the overall performance and general game play.
These adjustments were just to make it match up with how my server handles things.

I picked up the skill extractor plugin which honestly some of the players don’t understand and or are too greedy to use, so I just “converted” those to injectors and made them a reward item for various events.
They’re okay with that

My only real concern with this is do I wipe at some point, or do players just cap, respec every wipe and then hopefully catch onto the concept of the skill extractors and start selling/giving injectors to the other players.

I would like to see a few more additions to this plugin.
But aside from that, it’s very solid and worth the purchase.
