If you enable the spawning of barges on the map, is there a place where they spawn, like the tug spawn at harbor?

This is configured in the config. There are two Harbors and a Ferry Terminal. You can turn them on or off individually

need deleted only autoturret and samsite? so that it allows me to place turrets etc?

Hey...
I like this idea totaly ! This can give new dimension of gameplay totaly !
So i saw for now few problems :
1. Speed . If there is cabin if i put lets say 2.0 it turns that barge to submarine ,nose is diving . Last part of barge is in air )
With rhib if i put Weight to some low number , last part of barge is flying ..
2 . If buidling blocks are twig , and we press button for anchor ,some of buidling blocks are destroyed , if its upgraded to wood all is fine !
3. If we get to shalow water we are kinda done with that barge(cabin) ..we cant push it .
4 . Maybe it would be rly nice to add some ladders on sides ( i mean we can place them ) .

1. Yes, I noticed that too. But so far I do not know how to fix it. This is due to the large size of the barge. I'll try to do something. The physics of unity is not very adapted to such dimensions
2. you can disable this in the config ("Remove the straw blocks at the beginning of the movement")
3. The barge can be pushed with a hammer in shallow water
4. Players can deploy ladders themselves

I see that not all presets have the cabin. One, for example, is the 3x3 preset. I have not added anything to the config because I would like to know why some of the presets have the cabin and others do not before I mess around too much. Also, that got me to exploring and I then discovered that these two modules do not pass a validator check.

Sure would appreciate some clarification on these concerns before I move forward.

Hi.
You can add any module to any barge in the config
There is no cabin on some of them, just because I wanted to make them diverse.

I'm probably dense, but how do I connect a tug to the floating barge platform? I see in the Youtube video the tug seems to have a connector that mates with the connector on the barge. My tug doesn't have that. What am I missing?

There are 7 different barges in the config, you just spawned the one that doesn't have a connector. You can also add and disable modules in the config

Figured it out. The large roundish barge has the connector (looks like a yellow fan) but the Tugboat doesn't have a connector on any side. How do I hitch up the tugboat and the barge? Thanks for the quick reply btw

PS - I'm not the server admin. I'm a player on a server with a license purchased today. Thanks!

Hi Adem,

Thanks for the previous fixes on storage adaptors and electric furnaces, the players on my server have added some more minor issues to look at,

  1. Door controllers don't work
  2. Electric water purifier doesn't allow cable or pipe to be connected once placed
  3. Some wires become invisible, when disconnected at source or appliance player got disconnected from server with following error ( RPC error in RPC-request clear)  

again nothing major but said I would pass on any issues as and when found

Anyone used barges with BetterTC yet? it allows all building upgrades, skins, or wallpapers, how much will that screw things up lol?

What would be the best way to implement this only to a certain VIP Oxide group? I only want VIP paid players to use Barges. How would they get the items etc. if I only wanted VIP group to be able to access them?

Not sure if its another plugin or BetterTC but when installed it on my main server it doesn't auto update to frontier wood. I just allowed default players to use default upgrading. only issue so far is lights like the christmas lights dont stay with the base, they just hover in the air when you move the barge lol.

I have had no trouble with this. I spawned a few different barges and did some minor building on each. Reloading the plugin caused no problems. I realize that I had no trouble might not help you much but maybe some weird conflict ?

That no getting into the cabin was repaired in one of the last updates.

Hello, here are the current bugs:

When you go to sleep on the barge, your body sinks under the water. Upon rejoining the server, you will appear underwater instead of on the barge.

While the barge is moving, there is a desynchronization issue with players on the barge. It looks like you're being teleported under the map, but in reality, you are still on the barge, and others can see you there, even though it seems like you're under the map.

Doors often glitch during collisions with the tugboat. They appear to float in the air but are actually in their correct position.

Sorters on the barge cannot connect properly. It shows that they can be connected, but the pipes don’t appear.

Garage doors and barge gates appear open, but you can't pass through them because they are technically closed. You also can't open or close them.
