Hi,
There's not really a lot to it.
Just install the plugin in your plugins folder, look at rcon or server window to confirm it loaded, then type /perms in chat.

You must be admin (auth2), or have the permission, to use the chat commands.

it works very well, install it and then type /perms group in chat  and it will show all groups so that you can add/remove permissions , do the same with player names , if they have already got the permission by being in a group it will show "inherited" next to permission.

My server is listed in RustIO server page and Steam server list so it does not interfere with anything.

Is there a way to add/remove players to groups using this plugin? Or do we just do this manually still?

depends on how you have your server set up, mine is based on time on server = rank = group

Yes, you can add players to, and remove them from, groups with PermissionsManager.

Hi,

No, it's just a UI front end for the permissions system in oxide so it has no storage of its own.

Your timing is interesting, though, because I'm working on local+sql backup and restore as we speak!
Thought it might be useful for people who set up servers in advance, or run the same perms/groups across multiple servers.

For me, one thing that would be helpful and save me lots of time is if you could add/remove a permission to/from multiple groups at once.

For instance assign perm1 to group1, group2, group3, group4, etc. in quick fashion.

I have a similar problem where it is showing two groups that dont and have never existed ?, apart from that i dont think i could now run a server without the benefit of this plugin.

Is there an oxide console command to list groups?
If so, give that a bash. It may be that the groups exist but the remove command is case sensitive?

There are no groups called ""dniper or "ppop"

(14:10:45) | Syntax: chat group <add|remove|set|list>
(14:11:03) | default, Noob, Spaz, PrimoMaximus,
Learner, Provisional, MegaMaximus, UltraMaximus,
 SuperMaximus, Hardcase, Professional, Maximus,
 Player, Newbie, vip, Absolutemaximus, Grandmaximus,
 Getalifemaximus

Not sure what would cause that.
PermissionsManager grabs the groups 'live' from oxide's permissions.GetGroups(), so it's not like it's caching old information or anything like that.

Do the names dniper or ppop mean anything to you? Did they ever exist?

I'll take a look into it and see what I can find.

Just noticing, your console output isn't showing 'admin' or 'treasurehunter' either.

Perhaps there's some option with groups to prevent them from being displayed by command?
I'll investigate.

i dont use the admin group (removed it) and i dont use the treasure hunter as a group although i do use dangerous treasures. the other two groups have never been groups ,  I have tried console commands to remove the  two groups but i get the group <name> does not exist

Try /perms   and then give you self / admin group acces to the plugins you want 🙂

Hello, I have lost all the text. How can this be fixed? I've tried reloading the plugin, to no avail.
If you write the command /perms group. It all works. But it is worth switching to all players. blank screen

Found a solution to the problem! The player with the nickname "Roman Lemon/Chinchilla\" didn't work because of him. I killed him and everything worked. Can I somehow make changes to the plugin so that it does not react to nicknames?
