This seems extreme, but I have the same issue.  Can't load this plugin since it's named the same as the arena event manager.

2 users have this problem. If you would like to join my Discord I will send you the file with a new name

Are you able to have the events use a dynamic time range rather then a static one.
It would be nice if lets say heli could come out between 2 - 4 hours so its not always the same time interval on the dot.

No, unfortunately that is not planned

Hello,

Just picked up EventManager over the weekend. Have to say we're loving how easy it makes running/scheduling our event on our server. we ran into a situation where we want to add the Water Treatment Showdown Event to EM but in the devoloper field the developer who created the event plugin "Yac Vaguer" isn't listed on the drop-down list of developers. Can someone help us out with how to add developers to that drop-down list?

You can add the events yourself. With the command /newevent

What do you mean exactly? You can set the time and then it starts.

A start now button that does not require reconfiguring times?

I will not add this because the demand would be very low.

How this plugin manages events times which are in events plugins?

You have to deactivate all event timers of the event plugins you want to manage with EventManager.

What do I do to not have a conflict between this plugin and k1lly0u's Event Manager plugin. They both have the exact same name for their filename.

is this possible to make event execute in a random time(random from max and min time)?

What exactly would I have to change in the config files of each event if I wanted the Event Manager to start an hourly random event?
For example here some files from the SatDish Event:

"Minimum time between events [sec.]": 7200.0,
"Maximum time between events [sec.]": 7200.0,
"Is active the timer on to start the event? [true/false]": true,
"Duration of the event [sec.]": 3600,
"Time before the starting of the event after receiving a chat message [sec.]": 10.0,
"Notification time until the end of the event [sec.]": 300,

I really should set the time between events up to 250 hours?

I was thinking 0 sec. or the Event Manager would set it automaticly.

Can u explain me why it schould be 900000 sec. ?

Why would anyone set a Min/Max Time Between Events to "900000 Secs." That's 15,000 Minutes or 250 Hours! Why?

250-Hours is just over (4.1-Days)!! Good Grief, Charlie Brown!

I see no reason for such a long time to be used.

Setting the Event Manger to have a:
min time between events of 3600 Secs. is a good number. That is equal to 1 Hour.

max time between events of 7200 Secs. is a good number. That is equal to 2 Hours.

I would go not higher then 10800 Secs(3-Hours) for the Max Time and 5400 Secs(1.5-Hours) for the Min Time.

Sry, your answere make no sense to me, so I ask KpucTaJl if he could program a file to the config of his events like:

"Auto start event at time you specify: true/false"

And surprise, he had already integrated something like this long before.

"Is active the timer on to start the event? [true/false]"

60-Seconds is Equal to 1-Minute

The times listed in the ".json" are in Seconds. So, you need to do Math to figure out what (3600-Seconds) is! It is Equal to 1-Hour! That's (60 * 60).

60-Seconds per Minute

3600-Seconds per Hour.

The Last one there is what is used in a lot of different Configs for Timed Events (In Seconds) not (Hours).

I can't explain it any easier then that.

Ask your friend to show you what it means, that might help you in understanding on How Minutes and Hours are Converted to Seconds for use in Configs that are used to count Real World Time.
