Possibly down the line, it's a bit specific though so might not suit most people. To be honest it's probably easier to just grant the winner VIP manually as I guess it'd only be one person (or maybe team) per wipe

One thing I did on my server to get people excited was to run a small competition. The plugin tracks the amount of time people have held the egg, so I did a reward for whoever held it the longest at the end of wipe

Sounds good The spawn chance is low by default so that it’s quite rare and a bit of a shock when it’s found, but you can certainly increase that to suit your server

Hey Daryl! As you just bought the plugin, don’t worry about the event for now, that’s meant to be run after the egg has already been found. If you want to spawn the egg for testing, go into the config and increase the top 4 values for the percent chance for the egg to spawn. By default they’re quite low so it doesn’t spawn very often. You can increase those to a high number though (if you set it to 100 that will guarantee the egg will spawn with the next box you open). Once you have the egg you can play around with the options to change how it works to suit (most of it is in the plugin description). The plugin won’t interfere with other loot plugins, no problem there.

Can't seem to replicate this but I've put in some extra checks, I'll upload that version soon. Are you running anything specific on your server, plugins wise that might contribute to this?

Hi No it does allow pvp between players as well as I'm enabling damage within a radius of the egg (so I suppose I'm creating my own zone really) -

Technically yep. Might be a bit specific (not sure how many people would actually use that), but it could be done. What are you thinking of using that for?

I seem to be getting: I did delete the json file and drop both tables though before loading the old girl back up. EDIT: Ah, it seems to be when trying to save the leaderboard

Hey Mark, yep The Golden Egg does a lot of that. I’m currently working on an update to allow PVP for the holder of the egg on servers that use TruePVE Then after that I’m working on an update to add some things similar to your buff idea.

Yep (only TruePVE though I think, though if there are other similar plugins I can take a look). Basically TruePVE has an api that lets you check, and negate/enable damage. So it doesn’t need a zone at all (other than me needing to check if the egg is in the base or player being attacked)

Hey there, thanks! 1. Should be, yep. I'm going to be adding some things soon to help with competitions and the like, I'll see if I can slip this in as well 2. This one shouldn't be a problem, as I'm not really adding the egg to crates, I'm just spawning it in if the RNG roles an appropriate number each time you open one (gets around problems with other loot plugins) I'm currently experimenting with being able to change the skin, but unfortunately it looks like the egg prefab just isn't skinnable at all. I'm considering adding an option to use a different item if I can find an appropriate (it has to have certain criteria though so it's tricky) that people can use just to add a skin to. Hopefully I can find one as I agree it would be nice to be able to customize it like that.

Yep good idea. Can definitely add a config option to add a custom item name (though you’d probably also have to make your own custom image that pops up when they find it (see the screenshots), or worse case I could add an option to disable that and just have a chat message to the player). I’ll play around today with the skins.

Hi there, I’m not actually sure! The egg is already an in-game item (it’s just only used at Easter), so I doubt it had any default skins, but I’ll have a play with it for sure. I don’t see why not though, if a skin exists for it (doesn’t look like there’s any currently out there at the moment)
