There's a plugin - unsure if it's ok to provide a link to it - that provides information on updates for plugins. I find it to be so insanely useful the way it updates me.

You get a notification in Discord that tells you information like this:

Server - <servername>
Found an update for <pluginname>
Current Version
<version>
Latest Version
<version>
Changes
<recent notes about the changes>
Plugin Link
<link>
Logged @<date> <time>

That would be awesome and would help me and other admins to stay up to date with CF plugins.

@Bumfuzzler We're working on expanding our API to allow for developers to implement our services in a similar way. Won't be too much longer. 🙂

Love your service and you for considering this! So fucking stoked!

yeah please, we need that webhook discord functionality, so we can have all plugins reporting to the same discord channel when there's an update, regardless of what website they come from! sometime you just miss the console message, but you never miss the discord post. thx!

Hi! Awesome plugin!

Would it be possible to add some embedded info like the Plugin Updater for this (Discord)? Would be awesome for us to see the info all in one screen 🙂 Thx

So i have this plugin running and it keeps saying there is a update on Codefling for FurnaceSplitter which i had downloaded off UMOD. that version says it was last updated 7 months ago. When i search for it on this site its nowhere to be found.  when i look on FastBurst profile the guy that uploaded it on umod he only has 4 plugins listed on this site..furnacesplitter not being one of them.

Hi,
Thanks for reporting.
Yeah, at the moment UpdatesChecker goes on names, and it doesn't filter out files pending approval, so it needs some work or, rather, Codefling API does @Death

In the meantime you can add FurnaceSplitter to the config Ignore list.

Can you add a setting to ignore unknown plugins? my umod and lone design update scripts have those in them anyway

Hi,
UpdatesChecker only checks and reports for plugins whose names match an existing plugin on Codefling.
For the rare occasion when you have a plugin from elsewhere which happens to share a name with an existing Codefling plugin, there is an ignore list in UpdatesChecker config that you can use.

Would be cool if the updater had more info in the discord message like the Umod or MyVector plugin update checkers.

Latest API discord changes ( for preventing scam and spam links with bbcode fomatting and webhooklink pushing abuse ) your image became lost.
