Im so sorry I got caught up with Work and only just got this message. I fixed it already. But I do have another question, we also have the Survival Arena is there a section in skill tree that prevents losing points when they die in this game? This game is an event that we have on our PVE server. Cheers and thanks so much for your help.

Yeah there is an option in the SurvivalArena config from memory.

In Skill Tree I have set Prevent XP loss in eventmanager to "true" although the players appear to still go into debt. I will keep researching. Thanks Imthenewguy.

Seems to be an issue with Carbon at the moment. Was it working before a recent Carbon update etc?

Any way to add homing missiles by fruster to the damage list for the self boom damage skill?

when granting permissions via oxide.grant, we gave the default group these permissions:

skilltree.chat - required to use the chat commands to access the skill tree menu.

skilltree.xp - required to obtain xp from xp sources.

skilltree.tree - required to access and use the skill tree.

skilltree.all - allows user access to all trees.

We noticed during testing it out that a non-admin could use all the chat commands (admin level ones),   How do you restrict the default group from having all those permissions?

Assuming the plugin is running fine. Then i would say that you gave them the wrong one. I would check it.
And if you are using the "oxide.grant default" style i would recommend you get "Permissions manager" or "admin menu" plugin or something like them. It would make life a little more EZ for you!

I would also run "oxide.revoke group default skilltree.admin"

My players have to reset their skill points after each wipe (which we do weekly), where or how can I save the data. Thanks so much.

"Erase all data on wipe - wipes everything": false, (is how its set, but they have respec each time is what I meant). They retain their points no problem. Thanks so much, I hope I understood your reply. By the way, fantastic plugin, a lot of work from you, we appreciate it!

Is this a normal save time?
Calling 'OnServerSave' on 'SkillTree v1.4.9' took 150ms

In my opinion yes, I mean it is fast and seems normal having used this plugin for sometime on our server

Here is how my config for wipe settings is:  "Wipe and plugin update settings": {
    "Erase all data on wipe - wipes everything": false,
    "Erase ExtraPockets storage on wipe": false,
    "Refund skill points on server wipe": true,

How do I save where the skill points players apply? When they come after wipe, they still have to apply the points all over again. Cheers and thanks.

You have "Refund Skill points on server wipe" set to true. That means you refund players their points when you wipe the server.

EDIT: I think you're wanting players to keep their skills after a wipe? Set that line to false, then you won't refund players their points and they will keep their skills.

Hi, we've been having a small  issue with the "extended_mag" skill - because we use another plug-in,  Doorknocker; a permission based skill we sell in our shop, which lets players load 5 rockets into their launchers.

In the SkillTree config,  having blacklisted rocket launcher types and all rocket ammo types under the extended mag skill section, we still can't get them to work together, so sadly had t disable the extended mag skill.   Essentially what happens is the rocket launcher skill we sell doesnt work.

is the mistake mine, in the Weapon prefab section?

"Blacklist of weapon prefab shortnames that cannot benefit from the Extended Mag buff": [
      "rocket.launcher",
      "homingmissile.launcher"
    ],

Anybody have any ideas?

why do we use the second plugin?  Well, we like to limit the use of rocket launchers receiving bonus ammo in the weapon instead of extended mag applying to all weapons, without blocking off the possibility to have rocket launchers gain a buff too but an extra cost.

It asks you for the prefab shortname, not the item shortname.

Off the top of my head, I'm not sure what the rocket launcher is called though.

I'm an amateur back up admin on our server and I'm learning as I go. So many plugins to handle, I missed the fact that its a prefab and not item short name.

I'm hoping this is it "rocket_launcher.entity.prefab"

This is awesome plugin. But I have a question. I have an opportunity to change the backpack plugin in the skill tree? I saw the backpack in your plugin. But it’s old already. There is another plugin of backpack on the Umod and he gives more functions. I mean backpack 3.11 by WhiteThunder. Thank you for your work.
