i installed and the event spawned however all the npc just stood didnt move shoot anything and all members stood in same spot lol

I can say that @kaffeebohne did make a good and valid point, as it would be quite rare for this to happen. But I can expand on this further.

In regards at least to Convoy certainly, the intention is that if they cross paths that there will be no issue, and they will pass each other harmlessly. It may not look pretty potentially or realistic but it will work and there should be no conflict or issue.

In regards to the other plugins, the same should apply. But I can say since the team does not have the ability to test every plugin that has something on the roads, I just hope that everyone and anyone feels welcome to join or return to the Mad Mapper Discord and to let us know in a ticket so that we can review, confirm, and address any issues that arise or are found.

Sounds to me like you need to update NpcSpawn as well.

Manually double check the version when you download it or go to the Google Drive to get it, as there are still some people having issues where it is downloading an older version. It is a caching issue on the site. Clearing cache or using another browser may also work.

Thank you for the suggestion, I let Kpuc know about it. Currently not an option but it's in the suggestion bin for when we continue to come around through stuff.

Can some tell me why the PVP Zone MEssage Spams so hard?

Do you see anything in console when this happens? Is it happening regularly?

One thing I would check is to look at those other plugins and see if they are somehow duplicating and creating extra zones that are not necessary. But since it looks like the messages are from this plugin, it could be something else just duplicating the message for some reason. I can tell you that it doesn't look like normal behavior at all with it being the same message multiple times so any console errors or extra information about it would be helpful.

If you are in the Mad Mapper Discord you should #create-a-ticket there and we could look more into the issue and look to resolving it.

Can you confirm the version you have currently and are all of them up to date?

i saw the same issue only @mining outpost here come same massive messages from zonemanager hmmmm.

i think i only use true pve + zonemanager and ZoneManagerAutoZones hmmm

 

oh and i saw that the discord webhook dont work for me. there is no info @my channel.

i saw the same issue only @mining outpost here come same massive messages from zonemanager hmmmm.

i think i only use true pve + zonemanager and ZoneManagerAutoZones hmmm

If it is happening in other places this tells me it is very unlikely to be the new Event plugin. It creates its own zone. It likely is creating conflict of some kind with another plugin but it sounds like the error happens in certain instances with another plugin or combination of plugins having a different issue occasionally. Those are the configs I would look at first and would test with and without them to find the source.

Look at your zone management configs, especially the automatic one, make sure they are all up to date. You list a few plugins that interact with zones as well so that is worth considering. ok 2 funny things.

 

1. ony my testsystem which same configuration (i copy each file to another rust folder anbd start another server) ive no problem with all installed plugins.

 

2. ony my prod system i unload each plugin and only start NPCSpan + GasStationEvent and get 2 Messages no other Plugin was loaded:

Are you able to see what is different on the two servers? If you're getting two different results it would be worth even trying things like removing the steamapps folder and letting it reinstall or to check for anything else that could be a cause. It certainly isn't normal behavior. You've not found anything at all in your logs or console when it happens? Is it repeated anywhere like in console or is it only repeated in game?

no its the same server and the same folder.

 

i only copy paste the folder in another directory. i cahnged the starting port to start my server. i only deactivate my oxiddiscord file. the otherr things are exactly the same. ill try that again today but i dont do any change. 😕

ok im really confused.

today i copied my gameserver to another foilder. change port blabla...

i start the server it works fine.

the oinly thing whaht was different is that  i only delet the oxid.discord file + cs plugin: discord messaged/DiscordLogger and playcounter

all works fine @testsystem..

 

now i test that on my productiv system:

i removed the webhooks from the DiscordMessages plugin and now it works fine lol oO,

Same server and folder would be interesting. Not sure I follow your process but having similar stuff doesn't prove that it's the same it changes over time as you test it back and forth. Surely the files could end up different in one of the two directories regardless of how separate they are.

See surely it can be something not even exactly expected that is causing the repeat in issue. Look closely at the config there if you plan to reuse. It seems to look fine now other than there is a message from the event and from Zone Manager. You should remove one or turn one off if you want to keep it similar to how it was above but with less messages. This can be done multiple ways but let me know if you need help with any.

I am wondering if this will interfere with BotReSpawn anyone know I am interested in buying this for my server but I don't want issues with other mods I have zombiehordes and BotReSpawn. If anyone has any information on this please let me know.

No reason at all to my knowledge. I would think we would have heard something by now and NpcSpawn already works fine along side them so there's not any reason that this particular event and location could cause any new issues that wouldn't have already been taken care of.
