On my map I have just Jungle ruin 0/1/2/3 profiles...all with lower-case 'r'.
I don't have any with upper case r but maybe that's just luck of the draw or something.


If you open up BotReSpawn UI, go to these two profiles ( Jungle ruin 0 and Jungle Ruin 0 ) and click the "TP me there" button,
I expect they'll be two different locations.

I will keep both as my map has both upper case and lower case ruins. I was checking as i am creating kits/bots for them ,  had to reduce bots from other sites to compensate for new ones  🙂

Ah, even better - If you can see on the map there are are upper case and lower case then that confirms it.
They're just different locations and Facepunch have used simple and clever naming conventions, as is our expectation. 😂

Whether BotReSpawn will be fine with it... I don't know!
If you're able to access both profiles via UI and manipulate them separately then we're good. 👍

I created ParaZombies  to parachute down on GE and Random Airdrops ... I did exclude the player's thrown Airdrops when I set this up, but now I want to "punish those who throw too many" ... x6 zombies with each throw can add up fast.

Here's my problem.  I forgot how I went about excluding them from getting Parazombies on Personal Drops ... I know I've seen it somewhere.  I've checked over and over through the choices in Airdrop and Global and I don't see it.

I do use Fancy Drop, which effects airdrops.  I can't find it in their config either.

If you know where this is, can you point this out to me?  I would really appreciate this.  Thank you.

@Papa Bear- Sounds like you're looking for global setting 'Supply_Enabled'?

If you have it enabled then, most likely, the environment people are throwing supply grenades in can't support bots.

Try testing in an open terrain area, or in one of the vanilla monuments with open ground, like the airfield.

 

It's possible something's changed - If you think that's the case I'll fire up the server and get is sorted,
but it's not uncommon to get not-working reports for supply signals thrown in the water, for example.

Hello, I would like to suggest the following.  On the default profiles screen, could we get another tab on that screen with "offline profiles" or something of that nature?  For example I might make a change to abandoned mil bases, but then one of the other 3 variations spawn next wipe.  Or another example I adjusted the NPCs at mining outpost but only had 2 of them on this map, when there will be 7 on the next map.  So in the offline profiles section, we could browse all the botrespawn profiles that are in the config but not active.  When visiting this page, the enable true/false could just be stuck as false and unchangeable.   Just a thought about managing offline default profiles.  Thanks!

Hi,
I could add three filter buttons for
"On this map" "Not on this map" and "All"

The last used option would be remembered as preference.


Would that cover it?

For profiles where the monument doesn't exist, I'm not sure about forcing AutoSpawn false, or locking the button,
because a lot of people deliberately keep those profiles set up and ready to go (autospawn true), so that they don't have to do anything when the map changes,
but certainly the idea of separating them out or having filters makes perfect sense.

That would probably tidy up the default-profiles page a lot!

What would cause newly made equipped Bots with skins show up as blue scientist and when killed the armor and clothes are inside their pack? I've went back through the posts but didn't see anything. I didn't notice a search function. Items using are skinned metal and hoodies on one and Heavy plate armor on the other. Thanks for your great work and time!!!

You probably just need to set Keep_Defeault_Loadout to false for that profile,
so the npc's vanilla inventory gets wiped before the kit is given out.

Calling hook CanBradleyApcTarget resulted in a conflict between the following plugins: BotReSpawn - True (Boolean), Bradley (False (Boolean))

One plugin is saying Bradley can target APCs and the other plugin is saying it can't.
You'd need to look at the settings for both and make sure they agree, assuming Bradley plugin offers you that control.

There may also be cases where the conflict warning is fine and you can just ignore it - For example if default desired behaviour is that APC targets NPCs
but the circumstances with this Bradley plugin are an exception where it shouldn't. 🤷‍♂️

Yes, assuming that is "Monument Bradley" by Razor  a.k.a  Bradley.cs, it does offer that control in the configuration file 👍

I've seen that conflict, it doesnt cause any errors or lag in my experience between both plugins,
having 30+ active botrespawn profiles and many bradleys and npcs on the map, 
it's only annoying to see in console and simple to resolve.

Is it possible to add zombies (Murderers,Scarecrow) with this plugin?

In short, yes and no.

Murderer prefab no longer exists in the game but I believe their clothing items still do,
so you can make a kit to dress the npcs as murderers.

BotReSpawn has its own attack logic and does support melee-only behaviour, which is very similar to the older Murderer behaviour,
and also supports npcs using throwables like beancan grenades etc if you place any of those in the kit belt.

So while you can't directly spawn murderer or scarecrow prefab with BotReSpawn, you can more or less re-create the same thing.

You can also give your npcs frankenstein parts, if you want, either through Kits or though the clickable options in any profile's UI settings.

MurdererSound can be toggled true/false on the 'Other' page for any profile,
and I believe the glow eyes are a clothing item that you can add to any kit.

Gloweyes are a normal free item and you can also use the scarecrow suit. just add them to the kit you equip your bot with
