For some reason I am not able to download the update but I've gotten even the one right before this update because I purchased the plugin lol. I get the email notifications too lol. (Edit: I fixed the issue.) Disregard!

The heli does not seem to work properly.

It will not leave the convoy to attack when it is attacked, even if the setting:
"The distance to which the helicopter can move away from the convoy": is set very high.

Also, the setting:
"Maximum distance for dealing damage to the convoy":  does not seem to apply to the heli.

Players can abuse and just kill the heli from a long distance without heli attacking back.

I've seen that too lol. I've even done it myself during some testing. When I would set the max distance the Heli would go, it would go really far out, but he then eventually goes back to Convoy. Not sure if this is a new thing and I will keep my eye on it as well. And also, bring anything I notice to attention too. Just set the max distance dmg can be dealt away from Convoy (When you attack the Convoy not Heli) to a number, then set the Heli's max distance to something a little higher than that.

I received a report that the convoy is moving even if it is being attacked, this happens a few minutes after the player starts attacking it, this started in the last updates because before I updated it was not happening.

Also I wonder if its possible to Turn off AI of scientists within the vehicles until players get in range or until the convoy is attacked?

Does anyone know why my Convoy Event isn't automatically starting? Here is my config. I only want the Hard one to spawn and I have it set to 100 percent probability and Automatic Startup set to True

I have these turned on

  "Enable automatic event holding [true/false]": true,
  "Minimum time between events [sec.]": 60,
  "Maximum time between events [sec.]": 60,

      "Automatic startup": true,
      "Probability of a preset [0.0-100.0]": 100.0,

@SlayersRust  Could you use pastebin please or attach your config as a file next time, posting your entire config as a post makes the discussion thread a mess.

I'm no expert on this, I dont notice any mistakes though.
Try set the minimum and maximum time between events to be different.
Test with min 60 and max 180 for some variation.

in the "standart" preset, set automatic startup to false, even though probability is 0.0

If you watch the AI in the vehicles they are glitching tons and moving lots while driving. I thought this would help server performance to make them inactive until players come close. BotReSpawn plugin and ZombieHorde plugin does this. Makes the movements of the AI inactive until players get close for better server performance.

Nice idea, I think it may be a limitation of NPC Spawn which this plugin depends on. Perhaps ask the author over there?


In my own experience over the last 6 to 8 months I've noticed little performance issues with Convoy or Armored Train, with many many cars, wagons and npcs - though we run a fairly quiet server of 50 pop.

I have been having this error for 2 weeks when loading the server. Does anyone know what can be done to get the plugin working again?

This is a crooked generation of maps, so I advise you to inspect the entire road when wiping, at least on a map through rustmaps. It’s better, of course, to do this personally in the game, I doubt that the developer has the ability to adjust the plugin to the crooked generation of Rust.

Same, can't get Convoy to continue moving after attacking it, if player leaves the area or dies.
  "The time for which the convoy stops moving after receiving damage [sec.]": 200,   this is no longer having an effect

The only solution is to increase the time it takes for the convoy to start moving again. What's happening is that its timer to start moving is counting even when the player is attacking.

I'm working on a convoy update right now. There's just one more serious bug.
The update will be released within 24 hours. Sorry for the delay.
