Hi, can NPCs use the homing missile launcher?

i also tried it's not working so well they just shoot they don't have time to aim a lock on the target

How to set up a BOSS so that it can attack players' drones?

Easy to set up a boss with the configs available, but i dont think bots would recognise a drone or player entity (personal heli, car or vehicle or base) as a target. I might be wrong .

tried downloading 1.3.6, but I'm getting 1.3.5 instead.

BotReSpawn is reporting it but the issue is in another plugin.

If you look at your server log during server startup, you should hopefully see the same error but from a specific plugin.

Go into the in game UI and under any active profile you want the apc to not target choose the "Other" TAB and change "Ai Weapon Safe" to true and it will fix it, should not effect turrets from players attacking them.

go into /botrespawn I went to default profiles then to Launch Site 0 then to other and at the bottom it says Ai Weapon Safe

First off...Thank you Steenamaroo for that bit of info. I just applied it myself. I never knew that for years until you guys started chatting. So finally....I have resolved that issue. Some people it's better to show them instead of telling them. That's why I am including this picture. It's for those of us that are NOT computer and files friendly. Thanks!

Every time I see someone manually editing the json files, I die a little bit inside. 😂

You gotta remember us old skoolers didn't have built in GUI's 5+ years ago and had to do everything manually. Now a days we are just used to it and forget about the build in things 90% of the time... Hell I didn't even know botrespawn had one till you told me about it a year ago.

Plus while we are working on other plugins it's just easier to do it in the json files instead of being in game for some that have it and some that don't.

Back in the day when BotReSpawn was still on uMod, I learned that json file off by heart
Was really pleased when you made the GUI
But just something about that json that keeps me coming back

My NPCs that only have melee weapons are clipping into players if Ai_Weapon_Safe = false.

I've identified an issue and will be updating for it soon.

 

It *should* be the other way around though, where there's clipping if Ai_Weapon_Safe is true?

A lot of people still do.
I get that - We stick with what's familiar or comfortable.

Just know the UI is there. Maybe you'll find it useful when you need to make some minor change to a profile,
and don't particularly want to have to unload/reload the whole plugin. 👍
