3.7 is pretty amazing grok isnt bad either i have a feeling when GPT 5 hits it's gonna be a game changer though ... for the time.
-
Yeah I'm not opposed to the use of it for coding so long as it's properly backed. But the thumbnails are BLAH. I take pride in making my own.

I get the concerns about fully AI-generated plugins. Especially those that might be sold without the backing of someone backing it with an understanding or maintenance. BUT, I do believe setting a clear, reasonable threshold (maybe allowing up to 30-40% AI generated code) would be beneficial. Completely ruling out AI content limits innovation and the introduction of new and exciting ideas into the game/community. As a newer developer myself, I've seen AI significantly enhance creativity, allowing me(and others) to focus on bigger ideas rather than getting stuck in repetitive tasks. When used responsibly, AI elements can help developers push beyond previous limitations (if that makes sense), ultimately benefiting the players by creating fun, unique experiences. Transparency about AI use in submissions is important sure, but outright rejection risks stifling creativity rather than ensuring quality. Balancing usage and disclosure seems like the best approach to me. EDIT: Yes AI generated thumbnails DO suck. But if the code works and can be supported and breathes life into something positive...... go for it. EDIT 2: Just noting that with new models being released on a daily basis these days ... I guarantee you a years from now ... Flagship AI models will be able to hammer out plugins without any issues in one shot and it will completely change the landscape.

Amino, When can we expect your shop update to be out? You have missed multiple set deadlines set by you in your discord. Been begging for it. Need it for the ability to use 2 currencies simultaneously.
-
While Shop Controller is a fairly clean plugin, its limitations and the developer’s unfulfilled promises overshadow any positives. The biggest shortcoming is that it only supports one currency at a time, despite the product description implying multi-currency functionality. This is a major drawback for anyone wanting to offer different pricing models simultaneously, like using RP for some items and coins (via an economics plugin) for others. Worse still is the developer support. As shown in the attached Discord screenshots, Amino announced that Shop Controller V2 would be released “1 week until release” on February 4th, 2025. almost a month later, there has been no significant progress or clear communication. Instead, Amino historically cites personal setbacks - such as illness, lack of motivation, or the need for a break - while avoiding direct responses to inquiries about the missed deadlines. Meanwhile, customers who have spent hundreds on these plugins are left waiting with no clear timeline. If a developer publicly commits to a schedule, they should honor it or at least communicate transparently. Until these issues are addressed, you’re better off considering other shop plugins - like David’s or Mevent's = that offer true multi-currency support and more reliable updates. ------------------------------ Bullet Points Version: Basic Functionality Positive: Shop Controller is technically clean and works as intended. Negative: Supports only one currency at a time, contrary to the impression given by its description. Currency Limitation If you plan to offer different pricing models (e.g., RP for some items and coins for others), this plugin falls short. Competing plugins, such as David’s, allow simultaneous multi-currency usage. Misleading Description The developer implies multi-currency support but does not clarify that it’s limited to one currency at a time. Lack of Updates & Communication Discord Evidence: Screenshots show Amino promising “Shop Controller V2” within one week of January 16, 2025—yet it’s been over a month with no release. Excuses vs. Deadlines: Amino cites personal reasons (sickness, motivation issues, etc.) but does not address missed deadlines. Ignored Inquiries: Repeated questions about the timeline go unanswered, even though Amino is active and responding to other topics. Customer Frustration Many customers (myself included) have spent significant money on these plugins, only to be left in limbo. Accountability is lacking, and the developer shows little transparency when failing to meet self-imposed deadlines. Conclusion Until Amino delivers the promised update and clarifies the currency limitations, I recommend looking elsewhere for a shop plugin that truly supports multiple currencies and offers reliable support. I'll just leave this edit here. btw there was no release today.

seems kinda like you ripped off someone elses work that's giving it away free and you're trying to make a buck off it. Sorry but that's what it looks like. https://umod.org/plugins/admin-radar This is the @nivex plugin. He's a well know dev and highly respected and he offers this free. Maybe I'm wrong about something here but it sure seems suspicious.
