Right now I have survey charges, quarries and pumpjacks in my /shop (economics). Players can get 25 survey charges for free and the quarries and pumpjacks each cost 1000 economics coins. They get a physical inventory item to place.

I am wondering, would it be possible to add a requirement (optional for server owners) for a player to have a specific item (defined in the config) in their possession to place one of these? The idea is I'd still have them buy the quarry or pumpjack from the /shop, then when they use the virtual quarry, the physical quarry or pump jack in their inventory would be used up. Other admins might just want to use scrap or some other item(s).

Is that something that can be done?

So, basically just additional items to place quarry? Like to place quarry you need x1 quarry, x1000 wood and x500 scrap? Yeah, it is possible. If that's your point I can even try to add that tommorow.

Yup. That's exactly my suggestion. If you can add that, I will absolutely buy this plugin!

Missing Pipes integration.  Not sure how that can even be done with this kind of implementation.  Great idea...cannot even begin to explain how many ‘I can’t place a quarry’ or ‘why isn’t it turning blue’ questions will go away with this

This is what I made. You can configure what items you want for quarry/pump jack and bonus from me - additional items for resource output, like you can add additional 1000 scrap if quarry will contain hqm.image.thumb.png.20a969962b5c84aeb2741297e2c18476.png

In future updates i can try to make an input/output boxes for PvP servers so players will need to place boxes in their bases with fuel and as output storage. Then I think it will be compatibile with pipes.

Awesome. I have purchased it. I'll get it set up tomorrow, as it's late for me.

Ah yes...I can feel the $35 turning to ashes now LOL! Thank you for this incredible plugin ahead of time! We're working on preparing to move our players over to this method now 🙂

so question, what is the 45/value for min and max mean.  We want to try to control the output of quarries

It is calcuation method for getting final result. The output per minute is counted by 45 / <value in config> so if you set in config "Minimal work to gather" to 0.1 it is counted by 45 / 0.1 = 450 per minute and "Maximal work to gather" to 1 it is counted by 45 / 1 = 45 per minute. So finally you can find this resource with output between 45 and 450 per minute.

I see the place in the config to switch to Economics but how do you set how much in economics it costs to upgrade?

It is the same place for configuration as for RP. Just change "Upgrade Required RP" to your value. Also if you want different currency display you need to edit your language file.

Can someone explain how to set the resource usage/resources given? I feel like the players are getting way too many resources in way too little time. I want to either slow down the resources, increase the fuel used, or both.

For now you can't increase fuel used, because quarries are made in best performance way possible.

I can replace current values in config into in-game one, but i think it will require whole config wipe (or at least one section)

So with that config, the resource would produce between 45 and 450 of that particular resource per minute? I noticed the quarries have a rating ## pm. Is that was the resources should be per minute normally? I'm confused because I placed a quarry that had metal ore at 77 pm. In 1 minute, it generated 1100 metal ore.

Are you sure that you don't have any other plugin, that multiply output from quarries? I will check in few minutes too to be sure that its not a bug.

Edit: Yeah. In my server everything seems fine. YOu must have other plugin that multiply quarry output.

I just went through my plugins and I had Gather Manager installed. I bet that's what was causing the increased rates.

Suggestions:
Add a go back button for fuel storage. Please. I beg of you. The complaining is starting to stack up on this one.

Add the option to fail on survey "throws". Granted players like always getting a return on every throw. But I personally find it to be a little too op.

QuickSort https://umod.org/plugins/quick-sort doesn't work.
You can't right click or "hover loot" items into fuel slots or resource storage, but can out of.

Maybe add the option for scaling loot/resources while upgrading.
Meaning you can start with a stone only quarry and end with all resources if set to be so in the config.
