TC Authorized Setup 1.5.10

You can't open chests / doors, etc. with codelock and keylock?

No couldn't unlock doors, and couldn't even auth on TC's I literally just placed myself... had to remove the plugin to resolve the TC Auth issue. Not exactly new to installing plugins, and this one was pretty straight forward. Placed in plugins folder for oxide, reloaded ... even tried restarting server ... set permissions for admin ... which I did, to all of them and didn't work. I just don't get it... there something I'm missing?

All good now, seems to be working... thanks for taking the time to assist me over Discord today, most appreciated.

If anyone else is having similar issues, what I had to do to resolve was .... Admin's get .use and .bypass, moderators get .bypass and default players get .bypass as well. This is basic, simple... if you want to restrict your default players to specific items then you don't use .bypass and you use permissions per object like .chest, .turret etc. ... don't use the .ignore, this is what messed it up for me.

Would it be possible to add a limit for turrets and SAM sites too?

I've got a trio max server and obviously we can limit the TC to 3 people, but I'm thinking that to prevent people building bases next to each other and then authorising themselves on both base turrets, it would be amazing to be able to limit this too.

I've had some players come to me with an issue and say that they're able to open doors without putting the code in even though in the config I have that set to off. I unloaded this plugin to see if it could be this and then they told me they weren't able to put a code in or use their hammer to remove items (their team-mate placed the items).

With this plugin unloaded and them building a new base, they were asked for a code as expected and they were able to place and remove items with a hammer as expected too.

Has anyone came across something like this before, is anyone aware of any particular conflicts with other plugins?

My config for this:

I've just installed the latest version and I can't get the GUI menu to work. I'm sure I've got the perms set correctly (I have auth.use), but it's still saying "you don't have permission to use this command" when I type /tssettings.

I can adjust this via the config so it's not a big deal, just thought I'd let you know.

you need to use auth.ui instead auth.use

That permission doesn't exist for me in permission manager. Sorry about that, I'll get that done manually next time I'm online.

my bad, i checked and i was wrong, i will update it soon for fix it

A few players reported to me today that when they logged in, their auto turrets had deauthed them and killed them. I logged in and was killed by my auto turrets too.

I'm not sure now what I'm doing wrong.

Do you know off hand if this will work with CLANS, I'm thinking about trying out Rust:IO Clans by dcode or Clans by k1lly0u... they don't appear to offer auto authorization so wondering if this will work ?? Thx

This plugin does not send any messages to players and there is no UI with text for players, so I do not understand why lang file

We have a bit of a problem.

Since this new update, it's possible to add friends to your TC. With this, that means this plugin can be easily bypassed with turrets and tool cupboards.

My server is a trio max for example, and if 3 people manually click a TC, that's fine. When the 4th manually clicks it, they're not able to gain access with it being full. To get around this however, any one of the 3 that are already auth'd to a turret or TC can hold E and add as many people as they'd like.

It's made this plugin obsolete on my server at the moment ;(
