Yes please. I run a zombie PVE server and the only things I want hurt are NPCS and raidable bases.

How come sometimes the meteors turn into supply drops instead of leaving a giant meteorite when it lands?  I Have to run del assets/prefabs/misc/supply drop/supply_drop.prefab to get rid of all the free supply drops, but if I run the /ms run 111 command again, it will leave behind normal meteors

Players are still dying from /ms direct player, I already have player damage off

Hmmm, weird. I remember I tested that, maybe updates broke something. Will release fix for this today if it is not working and also add the features above.

It must be other plugin. It is impossible from my plugin to create a supply drop. There is nothing about it in code.

On my server everything is fine. Damage is blocked, it must be other plugin or something.

Please double compatibility, compatible with harmony, I had to edit the latest version of the plugin to make the jackhammer work again as usual. No click click mouse please and thanks for the plugin.

The bug from 1.2.0 has been fixed.
In 1.2.2 i will add option to disable changes made in recent versions, and with my second plugin Jackhammer Hot Spot Fix you are able to fix RPC errors without having to click. Maybe i will find solution for new version without requirement of reverting changes back.

Hmm, i had to make this update while ago but somehow i lost it. Option for ground check will be added in 1.2.2.

i think it got broken when they changed how jackhammer works. Not sure if it will be possible to fix without adding a lot of code, but will check it later.

Hi ThePiterq,

I'm not sure if this is working as intended, but after a server restart, the events do not start again until I reload the plugin. Once reloaded the timer starts as usual. This is kind of frustrating for me as I have my server set to restart in the early hours when the server isn't active, and I'm unable to get to my computer for ~6hrs after that. 

Another thing I've noticed is that if I have "Event Timer - Meteor Amount Based On Player Count": true," set to false, then no matter how high I set the maximum count, I only ever get 5. This again could be working as intended, but my monkey brain told me that it could have been a random figure between 1 & however much I'd set it to.

I've attached my config just in-case I'm blind and or stupid, and have missed something trivial.

Hey! Your problem is very weird. Based on your config event should run every hour and 8 meteors per online players.
Do you have any messages in logs with [MeteorEvent] tag?
Do you have any errors on startup?
What is your server fps?

And please, for future problems, create support request. Because problems like that might get lost here 🙂

Hey ThePitereq,

 

So I had to wait until the restart today to double check everything, but at 6am when the server restarted my logs show that "06:00 [Info] Loaded plugin MeteorEvent v1.2.2 by ThePitereq". Unfortunately that is all. Normally there would be a message like "no players online skipping event", but after a restart this doesn't happen until I manually reload the plugin. There are no errors at launch at all, and my (S)FPS this late into a wipe is ~500 after the restart, and goes to about 200 FPS after about 20hrs where it'll stay until the restart. I can wait until we wipe too, where my (S)FPS will be over 700 if you like?

Hiya @ThePitereq I just wanted to mention that I am also having an issue for some reason where it does not start automatic events on it's own. They had stopped working quite some time ago and I didn't even realize it until recently. The plugin is loaded and I can use the commands to call a meteor event. It won't start them itself though. I thought they were working for a day but it seems they have stopped again even after updating to the most recent version. The older version was doing the same thing so I updated just recently and although it worked for a day after, it has since reverted to just sitting there. The plugin is loaded but it is not starting any events.

The next time I do a restart and can help it, I will try to catch it and look at console while the server loads up. Wondering if there is a way to slow down the point at which the plugin loads so that other functions might complete first that could potentially be throwing it off. Only idea I really have though because once it starts going it works fine for the rest of the day, only happens during restarts that it will stop working.

Any way not a huge dilemna but wanted to give feedback as I saw this a discussion. I own this through Lone.design but I own some things on both sites and saw the conversation here, otherwise I would consider opening a support request.

Nothing to apologize for. I think at least for myself, it is likely because I have a heavy plugin load on startup. I can manually launch an event after the server has come up and then it starts automatically the rest of the day. Otherwise if I leave it alone and don't intervene it just never starts.

But please don't apologize get to it whenever just giving you the feedback. We all have lives, and the most any of us can ask is just communication if things take a long time. Completely understandable.

I've checked the code and it should work correctly. At least for me it works after restart (i have over 160 loaded plugins).
All i can do is to delay timer start for ~30 seconds after startup. Maybe it will help.

I've released test version 1.2.3. Try it @Jbird@ChristopherS maybe it will fix your issue. It is also available on Lone.

Thank you for the attempt. Unfortunately it does not seem to have worked. My timer is set to create a meteor shower every hour.
If reloaded after the server is up, the plugin will work fine and do automatic events the rest of the day until next restart.

This method attempt to fix it actually caused a separate issue though. See the photo. This is the GC point at 0,0,0. Has not happened before today, I periodically, maybe a couple times a week will visit this spot and delete the handful of things there. Mostly RHIB storage and some chairs. Appear to be meteors that do not get deleted before the server had restarted as it was running events before restart from when I had loaded the plugin yesterday.

Oddly seems to have somehow sprouted another issue as I have no Alpha Animals now and they were working fine yesterday. Always something!
