Why is the plugin no longer available? I would like to buy it

It no longer functions properly because of changes made by Facepunch. The default level in this plugin is slower than vanilla. Read the posts further up on this page.

Seems this is the end. The plugin is 100% dead as of today's update, and since it's no longer being updated, that's the end of the road for this cool feature. Ah well.

I'm working on getting it updated as me a NON coder and got it to work correctly on my test server.. I'll keep you updated when I get it working perfectly

we may get it to work today....but when there is more advanced coding required or major class changes, we will all be dead in the water.
pretty shitty that people buy something and the devs can just walk away and not provide support.

i have never had an issue with this plugin....if you change private bool flatOutput = true; in the code, it works perfectly.
I'm not sure what other problems people are facing...

Nah, that's not working.

That's the error it is throwing:

error CS1503: Argument `#1' cannot convert `NetworkableId' expression to type `uint'

Plugins are not subscription based services (atleast for now), every dev will walk away at some point or you expect devs to be on never ending contract because they put asset up for sale?

Rust is game which changes frequently so sometimes plugins become obsolete or unsupported. When I was setting up price for the plugin, I wanted to make it affordable but it sort of backfired and further development became economically not viable. It's defo mistake on my part as well, now I'm choosing more carefully what I will release, hence I haven't released anything new for about one year now.

I understand that it's upsetting but please try to look at it from my angle too.

I think people are upset because there is nothing else like this out. Honestly I didn't care about further development, my players were happy with upgrading the large furnaces and oil refineries.

I agree with the post above! we love the plugin as it is! the flat out put rate works perfecto on my server 🙂
would still like it to work on the electric funaces but there should always something to wish for right?

Take care and thanks for the update keeping this alive!
Salut!

I agree with everyone else on here, this plugin is one of a kind. I've tried to imitate its functions by using other plugins but nothing comes close to it. So I also would love to have this be worked on more and if not have it passed on to someone else willing to maintain it

I applied this change as indicated in the previous comment and it worked again without problem. according to my configuration. Thank you very much for the tip.

I suspect that for those who have been able to fix the plugin by simply changing that parameter are running a different version than I do.

We have the same version... did you delete the config file after making that change or made any other action?

I know I'm a bit late to the party here, but another angle to look from could be that I bought this on the 2nd September and only a month later you said it's not going to be supported anymore. I barely got this set up before support was yanked.
(EDIT: Just checked the calendar and found that I got exactly 5 weeks of support out of this plugin from the day of purchase)

That aside, can I ask. The issue at hand that led to hanging up the gloves is the fact that a vanilla furnace now smelts faster than this plugin does. Surely a fix to this would just be a simple tweak of the config file no?

This plugin really is a super unique concept and it's a real shame that there's nothing like this out there.

Sorry for the late reply,

you just have to change the value mentioned above and the plugin works fine.

It is true that it burns slower than vanilla, but my server's dynamic is to motivate players to level up the furnaces.

They love it and I personally am happy that it still works.

No worries for late reply,
The problem is that I have changed that parameter with " private bool flatOutput = true; " but I am still getting this error " Error while compiling: FurnaceLevels.cs(907,41): error CS0266: Cannot implicitly convert type `long' to `int'. An explicit conversion exists (are you missing a cast?) " and the plugin is not loading at all.

So I am wondering what's different than other people who are making it running with no issues at all, considering of having my same plugin version

Sorry for tagging you @David, but I have to ask at least. Would you mind if the community shared the code to try to get it working again, despite the new furnace system?
