Another Question. The cooked meals don´t give food and water, is that alright so or is it a bug?

It's intentional, as eating them can cause other issues. Also if a player eats a food, which would add a 4th buff, it refunds the food (effectively giving them infinite food).

Any way to have a meal that makes you invisible to heli. Like the one for bradley?

Hello! I'm trying to set the Cooking Menu to be accessible via Recycler and Workbench, though the menu is not appearing after saving and reloading the plugin. I'm using the correct prefab names recycler_staticworkbench3.deployed with no luck.

I see you added a buff for the heli but we cant find it anywhere. Is that something we need to add?

Thanks for the wonderful plugin @imthenewguy
I have a few suggestions and wishes for the plugin.

> New buff effects.

- New luck buff, food to get a higher chance of fishing fish treasures.
- New luck buff, food to increase the drop amount of electrical items in the  crates, barrels.
- New luck buff, food to increase the drop amount of Components items in the crates, barrels.
- No recoil buff for the Weapons

  • Bolt Action Rifle, 
  • Custom SMG, 
  • Assault Rifle, 
  • LR-300 Assault Rifle, 
  • M92 Pistol, 
  • MP5A4, 
  • M249, 
  • M39 Rifle, 
  • L96 Rifle, 
  • Nailgun, 
  • Pump Shotgun, 
  • Python Revolver, 
  • Spas-12 Shotgun, 
  • Thompson, 
  • Waterpipe Shotgun, 
  • Semi-Automatic Pistol,
  • Revolver,
  • Multiple Grenade Launcher

I'll take the suggestions under advisement. The tiers could be done via custom recipes as is, ie you could make 3 different tiers of food via the config, each with different quantities of food.

The translate can again be done via the config and the lang file.

 

I will look into the no recoil suggestion - not sure how to do this tbh. The luck for fishing should be easy to do. The luck for looting will be dependent on the loot plugin that a server uses. The only thing I could do with this would be to add a new slot when looted (once) and then roll an item depending on the food buff.

do not do no recoil as this will mess with arakan and other anticheats

1.2.0 has luck buffs for fishing treasure, electrical items and components. Also adjusted the way it has been designed so you can add tiers of items. This can be achieved by setting the value of the BuffModifier field for certain buffs.

For example, you can create 3 different tiers of food in the config, and set the value of the BuffModifier for each meal to a different amount.

Just did the latest update and now the button in the bbq is gone. getting this error if i try to look at the plupin The file oxide\plugins\Cooking.cs is too large to edit.

That error seems as though it can't be edited on your server panel.

What are you trying to edit in the .cs file anyway?

Also regarding the button, good spot! Download 1.2.1 for a fix 🙂

Those 2 aren't possible as they don't trigger the CanLootEntity hook when opened.

Also regarding the NPC to open the menu: I will add that in for next release.

First of all, thank you for your great work. 
We have already massively adapted it to our concept and will publish it for our community with the next wipe.

I have one more little change in my head that would be interesting.
Would it be possible to implement a function that would hide articles in the farmer's market and in the article info?

In addition, we discovered a small bug, it may be possible to fix it.
It's hard for me to describe so I made a video showing this problem.
Because according to your plugin, only cooking ingredients are allowed in the bag, but with the Quick Sort plugin it is unfortunately possible to fill this bag with other items.

Edit:  I excluded the woodbox_deployed, maybe there is a better solution.

Unfortunately I have seen that issue before and the auto sorter plugin I looked at didn't have any APIs to prevent the button from being used/displayed, so I can't prevent them from using the button while the bag is open.

 

What do you mean by hide articles in the farmers market? Not sure what you are referring to.

I meant that you can no longer sell or buy the milk in the shop, for example, that it would not be visible in the shop at all. Because currently all articles are automatically displayed in the shop.

Ahh I understand. You want to be able to remove certain items from being bought/sold at the market, without disabling their drops?

Just by chance wondering if you'll be adding a way for players to sell the meals they make for scrap, RewardPoints, and Ecocnomics?

Not on the road map unfortunately. Could be easily done via GUI shop though.

Our players asked if it would be possible to get information about the cooking ingredients that you need for the recipes. Because sometimes it is quite difficult to see what kind of cooking ingredient it is.

For example, hover the mouse pointer over the ingredient and you will get the name of the cooking ingredient.

Wondering if you'll be adding a way for players to sell their made foods so other players can buy them?

Also a way for players that have backpack that save during wipe to have there ingredients save as well, The ingredients bag saves but not the items inside (backpacks plugin by LaserHydra) Thank you
