Quick question, I edited my bots through the config files, however, the in game UI configs do not match. Am I missing something? (This is of course after reloading the plugin)

Hi,

BotReSpawn saves data+config files during unload (and reload) to catch changes that might have been made in UI,
so that would overwrite any manual changes you make.


To make manual file changes you'd need to unload BotReSpawn first, make the changes, then load it.

is there an option to place bradleys like npcs? or could it be?  just learning how to use this mod and what it can all do. thanks!

You can make "heavy duty" bots by including heavy weapons (m249) and armour in the kit you create and assign to them, you can also use the config to make them faster and harder to kill.

Hi - I'm a big fan of your plugin and it works great with a number of other plugins. I have one small issue though I'm hoping you can help with. I have created a "boss" type mob that spawns in a specific biome but when I turn the map marker toggles to true, the npc is not given a map marker but instead a random, static, white dot is put on the center of the map. Any help to fix this would be appreciated!

Hi,
I do intend to replace the basic marker with the marker with text in the near future,
although you should know that the profile markers indicate where the profile is located - Not where any specific npc is located.

I'm not sure if the marker options show up for biome profiles or not but, if they do, I should block that because it doesn't really make any sense.

@Steenamaroo Ah, ok - thank you for the response. I misunderstood how the marker worked. The marker shows up for the biome in the middle of the map, not in the biome where the npc is, just fyi.

Thanks for letting me know.
That makes sense - The biome profile's locations are meaningless. Pretty sure they're 0,0,0,
so I'll remove the marker options from those profiles. 👍

pncp (PersonalNPC) and botbotrespawn conflict.   you see "target other npcs"   is the setting that is broke for us.   it is why Botrepsawn npc's shoots the scientists.    because /pncp  counts as a scientist to the mod  BotReSpawn  the alternative is to make it so pncp doesnt attack any bots.  then botrespawn bots wont attack the inherent scientists.  but even doing that you can middle-click to make your /pnpc attack the botrespawn bots, and they wont attack back at that point. i would like to be able to use botrespawn along with PersonalNPC on a pvp server.  can you add an entry there to "Target PersonalNPC" ? i posted on the PersonalNPC page as well.  thank you.

is there any way to just spawn bots at where you are looking?

Almost - There's a 'toplayer' command.

You can either use console to do /botrespawn toplayer "Profile Name" PlayerName

or 

use the button in the UI, on some profile's page.


If using the console command profile name must be 100% accurate, but player name can be partial.

can these be spawned in underground buildings or will they just go to the ground above?

If you place custom spawnpoints underground they certainly work,
and I made it that events taking place underground (like hacked crates) should look for spawnpoints where the crate was hacked...I.E. underground.

I *think* I recently made it that any profile created underground should be able to look for random spawnpoints underground too but I'd have to check to make sure.

Is there a reason that they are no longer dropping full kit. I have Grenades and bean cans and they are no longer dropping them.
It looks like they are only dropping the first half of the kit they get not the rest. 

Edit I do have it where they 100 % drop it.

Hi,
I'll have to check that out tomorrow. It's possible something changed in Rust with the update.

Are all those items provided by your kit, or are some coming from a loot plugin?

the kit its self is the only form of loot that they have. Then they have the random box loot you can add to them

Hello!

There is a chance when 100% accuracy on bots that we can choose If they hit in the head or chest? Because they are all hitting the chest with 100% acc. It should be nice If there was a option to choose between chest and head. Thank you so much in advance!

If the option NPCs_Damage_Armour is set to true, there's a 97% chance of them hitting the chest and 3% chance of a headshot.
I don't think a particular body part is hit with that option false, to prevent damage to any armour the player is wearing.

Hello!

Is there by any chance in the future that we can choose the % of the chest or headshots on configs? It could help and improve some hard bots on the server.

It was alpha loot I disabled it in the botrespawn config and they have full loot.... Sorry to bother you.
