    Do you have other event plugins which spawn and control Patrol Heli by any chance? If so, I am working on compatibility but may need to contact the other devs to make It properly compatible. But I am working on it, or do you not have any events with heli? The error spam is annoying but it won’t affect anything.

  4. Hi, yes that can sometimes happen with vanilla heli too. My plugin doesn't change anything to do with how the crates spawn or move. So it's out of my control. I think this can happen more with custom maps but not sure. Also it is influenced by the speed of the heli since the boxes inherit their velocity from the crashing heli. Is your heli speed fast?

    These are not commands from my plugin, they are server convars. There is no equivalent with Bradley. They remain until killed.

    No, you can't remove the despawn timer in the config, it has to be set at something. But the server convar setting is overiding the config, so unless I can code it to overide that you should increase the server convar to above the longest despawn timer in your heli config

    I will see if I can overide the server retire call in the plugin to the despawn timer. But that convar will force any heli to retire after whatever you set in there

    You should first of all try setting your convar correctly. heli.lifetimeminutes 30 Expert despawn timer is 30 mins in your config. How long did they take before it retired? Maybe 15 mins?

    Were the helis being actively engaged, or were the players hiding for a long time or dead? Did a player or someone in their team use the "hsretire" command?

    Please give more info, this gives me nothing to go by. After how long do they retire? What have you got the "heli.lifetimeminutes" server convar set to? Is it happening with every heli signal? Is it happening for all players helis at once, or just certain players? Any errors in console? Have you got the config option set to force return the heli if it goes too far away? In future please try and be as decriptive as possible with support issues and give as much detail to give me some hope of identifying a problem if it exists.

    There are no skins for expert and nightmare bradleys at the moment, so I don't know what you mean or what you are spawning. Have you created your own skins for these? If you haven't then what skin ID are you using for them? Yes, I will look at what configuration can be done with the scientists.

  16. Sorry about slow update, I checked out BradleyTiers and he already added a check to my plugin so it shouldnt modify mine. Is it still doing this, have you got the most recent versions?

    I haven't forgotten this, but I needed to get an update out to fix the no rockets bug. I will look more into sorting this ASAP. It might need collaboration from the devs of other plugins though to add compatibility. We will see.

    Yes, this recent update brought a lot of changes to the Helicopter behaviour, which I personally don't like either. The heli flying away is not the fault of this plugin but down to the Facepunch changes. The good thing is if you don't want this behaviour you can disable it with the server convars. See the Devblog here for more info: https://rust.facepunch.com/news/waves-of-change#PatrolHelicopterImprovements I am trying to iron out a bug with the new changes where disabling the convar is not stopping the Heli going into strafe state and firing rockets. I am hopeful to have that sorted and a update later tonight. I do love the new Orbit Strafe attack though, that's kinda of cool and I already added the option to modify the number of rockets during that attack.

    An issue has been found which prevents the heli strafe and firing rockets. I found the issue, I will release an update later tonight. In the meantime, you should se the config value: "Allow Helicopter to flee attack (Sets server ConVar: 'patrolhelicopterai.use_danger_zones')": true, This will allow the heli to flee, but if you use it with the other config options: "Force Helicopter to Return to Player if it Moves Too far Away": true, "Force Helicopter to Return Even if Attacking Other Players": true, This will return the heli to the player if it goes away.
