Brilliant update. Being able to choose for these to not land on rail tracks will greatly help me when using Automated Workcarts. Thanks!

I'll try to fix this problem soon. I am in bad hardware situation right now and can't do few things right now. I've tried already to fix this problem but i need few tools that my pc can't run rn.

Greetings,

Is there a setting to change the text of the warning?  If not, can there be one?  Perhaps the warning "Astrologers predict...", is this an intentional troll but "astronomer" is the proper term for the scientists that use telescopes.

Hey! Oh, didn't knew that ^^. You have all texts available at oxide/lang/<language code, by default: en>/MeteorEvent.json and you can edit all messages there.,

I think there's something wrong with /ms direct. Myself and other players, when we do /ms direct playername, it doesn't go to that player. It goes to some random player most of the time. Anyone else experiencing this?

Ha! Thanks for the tip on how I can fix it for myself.  I might be a science nerd about astronomy and have a distinct distaste for astrology (horoscope) nonsense.

Good afternoon, I have a question regarding optimizations. Why not add an event timer? For example: it would be great to observe the fall of 30 meteorites within 3 minutes. This is beautiful and I think it will reduce the load on the server. I know that the load is already small. But maybe even less?

It seems like the random event is targeted to the center of the map.  Can it be targeted at a random location on the map?

Hey, You mean to expand event length? Sure possible. Can be added in next update.,

Hey. Also, can add option to config for event center, and modify /ms run command to support your current location.

Is it common that sometimes the nodes are there; but going to farm them with either a jackhammer or explo ammo you get nothing. It's as if the node isn't there or taking any damage. 

I thought it was something I did in my config; recopied your default config and it's still doing the same thing. It's not every node though.

If you have too big nodes you need to decrease the melee_protection anti-cheat to 2 or less or decrease the size of the meteors.
It's solution for normal ones, big ones should work good. For me they work fine.
I'll try to find another solution for that.

And what about adding radiation to meteorites? They still flew into space. It is logical that they have their own radiation

Not many meteorites contain radioactive elements, so it's not 'logical' that they would be radioactive.  It stands to reason that radioactive elements are about as common in asteroids as they are on earth, i.e. pretty rare indeed.

As a game mechanic, it might be fun, but explosives are already needed to mine them so it just amplifies the late tier bias.

is it possible to turn the event area pvp? keeping an eye on this ❤️ id love to add this to my daily plug ins, just need really the pvp option for our purposes
