Unsure. It's why it's in testing.

It's sad that we can't do these events for a whole month, as is the case with other event plugins.

I'm using translation because we speak a different language than you, but the nuances are probably completely different.
In the translation language, "let me know when you're around" is just a polite gesture in my language.
What does "let me know when you're around" mean?

I heard that a test version of the mod has been shared on Discord,
but is there no one providing feedback on the test?

Are the only server admins who have applied this mod to their servers myself and hid333?

There has been no feedback no.

The testing has been primarily done using SurvivalArena as they all used the same logic for storing/restoring items.
After many iterations, I have finally fixed the issue with SurvivalArena and have rolled the same logic out to EventHelper (which is how FishingContest handles its items).

Will be pushing it once Ive tested on staging for next forced.

We've run the test version distributed on Discord more than 20 times so far, and no problems have been reported.
We've participated with items on our bodies, in our inventory, and on our belts
So far, we've had no problems, even when the event ended normally or due to insufficient participants. We're trying out a few different patterns.

I think this is a temporary solution, but
It's a bit of a pain to have to manually return the fish and receive the prizes for winning

yeah it's not ideal. Will look at something more permanent down the track.
