Finally.....someone did what Facepunch refused to do.  You rock.

So it looks like the owner of the team needs to log in AFTER a server crash for the team to be re-established.
Then all of the team members will be re-joined.

Until the Team leader joins, everyone that was in the team will not belong to the team until that happens.

At least that is what I've experienced.  Is that the intended flow?  If so, is there any way to re-create the team on ANY member of the team joining without having to wait for the leader to re-join?  Thanks

Would be interesting to know if this is still an issue in the latest release. ( 1.0.4 ) Should be fully resolved tho /

We ran through almost every scenario we could think of in the testing phases this time around.

Failed to call hook 'OnTeamLeave' on plugin 'TeamFix v1.0.4' (NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object)

Not sure what caused this. Had it pop up on my server. Just thought I'd let you know.

Sorry, not much help beyond that.

This plugin doesnt work.  NRE's everywhere and does not fix the team issue on server crash, unfortunately.

Yeah I was having issues as well.
One person joined a different team, and they ended up back on a previous team when they got on at a later time.

That is exactly what happens when a server crashes....and what this plugin was supposed to resolve. Sucks that it doesnt work....has so much potential.

Do you know if this is still happening since it was updated on March 6? @Rust Admin

If you are having issues and never send the data file how do you expect me to debug it?

Also this plugin will never support any clans plugin espically Clans Reborn. Due to compatibility issues.

I am 1 person with no one to help test or re-create your problems and the data files are all I have to go off of which nobody bothers to send with their problems.

Am sorry 😢

Question... in your description you state "Team Fix will only restore/fix teams in the event a server crash causes it." ... what about scheduled server restarts? ... Teams get disbanded nightly on server restart from my game host provider, its annoying... and I'm looking for a solution. Will this work for server restarts, not just crashes?

Currently Team Fix requires an update to resolve a couple issues.

In the next update I will be able to support that & make it so it only wipes teams on map-wipes.

I plan to have a new update out sometime next month.

maybe this will help but as far as my experience is concerned I only found one server so far that did not break the clans every time I scheduled a task when restarting but its price is very high I think but whoever wants can migrate to apex hosting that have a scrip integrated in the task panel to not break the teams.

On the other hand you can use through scheduled commands and the teams will no longer break, in short forget about scheduling reboot using the start scrip that all server panels have instead to solve it use the following configuration

1. schedule the command execution in task with a daily date.
2. type the following restart 600 daily reboot

here comes the magic if you are restarting rust through the use of the scheduled restart script then you will have the restart broken but if you use as scheduled command the players in clan will not be broken try this command also in F1 console or in your RCON web and you will see.

After april 4, 2024 update: TeamFix - Failed to compile: 'BasePlayer' does not contain a definition for 'ClientRPCPlayerAndSpectators' and no accessible extension method 'ClientRPCPlayerAndSpectators' accepting a first argument of type 'BasePlayer' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) | Line: 211, Pos: 28
