so was working fine and after update(used same map) as previous month alot of bases are partially underground ?

I can take a look but its always been normal if a small portion is underground. no lower than 2.5 meters underground at those points.

make sure server has the server and oxide update from 9th

I see no changes in the Rust update that would cause this. everything spawns within normal expectations during testing. it doesn't mean much that it worked previously. sometimes it just goes unnoticed, but usually something seemingly irrelevant gets changed in the profile that breaks it.

it's most likely the profile(s) height settings, or the copypaste files. your copypaste files may not be copied properly even if they appear to be or have worked flawlessly in the past. bases which are copied but not centered can and will rotate into terrain. this can go unnoticed for months.

make sure you are up to date if using any tier packages. only the copypaste files need to be updated. they were recopied and centered so that they don't rotate into terrain when they paste.

I can take a look at your profiles if you want to DM them to me in a zip archive

@nivexHi nivex, just wanted to ask you if theres has been any changes on how the bases paste on the last few months cause i have been noticing gigantic fps down when this happens. I have been using the same bases for the last couple of years and this started happen maybe in january or december. Thank you

hi, spawning entities is much more expensive starting some 6 months ago. set paste batch in CopyPaste config to 1. its what pastes.

I would really enjoy a 'Lite' version of this plugin. The extensive configuration options are nice on some servers,  but sometimes I just need extremely basic starter bases to be spawned at the beginning of wipe with no NPCs and a basic loot pool.

Currently I have about 50 small starter bases in CopyPaste, each containing boxes with loot in them that I manually placed. I paste these bases around the map at the beginning of wipe. I'd just like to automate this process of placing the bases and generating the loot pools.

it can be configured without all the extras. a lite version is a possibility later on ya

Interested in the full version but wondering if there's additional documentation? The information listed on the plugin pages seem to be referred to as documentation but it's mainly just a list of the configuration options that could have been commented in the config files themselves, and information about specific issues.

Real docs with an overview, best practices, usage examples, etc would be welcome. I realize the plugin is complex and takes time to understand, but good documentation would speed up understanding quite a bit.

heya. no.

changing the documentation would help to some degree, but not much. documenting everything is not necessary, and or possible without pictures. it would only serve to bloat it more. ill explain.

srtbull was kind enough to make two videos that exist for helping you set up the plugin.

most questions are not about what a setting does because they are self explanatory. however most questions are asking how to do something because its so easy to overlook a setting. its severely bloated and difficult to wrap your head around because there's simply too much going on. a better documentation isn't going to help anyone. a better structure would.

theres over 600 settings. the only solution is to go through each of them one by one. they're easy enough to understand, and the most frequent are documented already.

i can add anything you like. otherwise feel free to ask any questions you have here.

.. i dont mind that there isnt the higher level ' best practices, usage examples, etc tutorials.. i would definitely read/watch all of them, but im glad they dont exist.

i think its good if everyone figures different stuff out.

Pretty sure I found a bug. here is what happens, and what didn't used to happen.

1. player is raiding a base, solo or teamed same results, paid, pvp, pve, all bases

2. on my server, the raid is not finished until tc and all boxes are broken, but it happens even if raid is finished with just tc.ds

3. player breaks tc. and places bag or bed inside bubble (i have to very large bases)

4. upon player death, they respawn on the bag or bed inside. and are there, and visible, until they wake up. when they wake up, they are ejected from the sphere

running version 2.8.5, and all eject settings in the configs are set to false. even more so then i would like during testing to be sure. It also happens if they place a bag, before tc break outside of tc radius but inside spehere,  but on my server they generally place the bags inside after tc break, since they cannot before that. 

What used to happen, was they would spawn on thier bag, especially if the tc was broken already, (which they do now, just when they wake are ejected) and avoid needing to run into the base, climbing past npc etc.

also tested this with and without breaking the tc, both situations result in ejection

heya. Allow Teleport was bugged when it previously worked. it's been fixed and Allow Teleport When Respawning was added. set that to true in config

heya, no. Facepunch has changed it so it works differently by requiring you to click the icon to see the popup text. the popup text will be fixed in the next update. was hoping Facepunch would add something for the modded community so we could customize the "A vending machine" text first

Ya i knew that much, and saw your post about the ui thing, just thought i missed an update cause its been a while.

Players get a huge delay when respawning near raidable bases
Is there a config or other plugin that can fix it, I only have inland/ice sheets mode on but sometimes it spawns in beaches
