I'm still waiting on support from my previous post above. Passed onto discord and nothing yet. I remember when M&B would reply with minutes or hour or within day and stuff would get fixed ASAP.

Hi MeventSupport,

Would it be possible to add a pause feature to EventsManager that stops all events from triggering?

This would be very useful after a server wipe. I like to allow 24 hours with no events, so players can progress in a more vanilla way first. It also gives me time to check and update any plugins that may have broken after the wipe before events start running again.

It would also be really helpful to have a pause or skip option for individual events in the daily schedule. This way, if a specific event has a problem, I could temporarily skip it without needing to remove it completely from the schedule and then re-add it later with all the configured times again.

So ideally something like:

A global pause button to stop all events from triggering.

A pause or skip option per event to temporarily disable a specific event.

This would make managing events much easier if something needs fixing.

Hi so when doing the times for deep sea to spawn , will the respawn timer start when deep sea closes

Hi im not sure how to be more specific, but i will try - so if i set a timer for every 2 hours - will Events manager try spawning deep sea every 2 hours (even with deep sea open) or will the 2 hour timer start once deep sea has shut

ive been testing it - with a 60 minute timer - i will know in80 minutes if it respawns with a 60 minute timer

ive got mine now set with a 240 minute timer , deep sea open for 3 hours and closed for 1 hour !

Is this plugin causing deep sea not opening at all?
Deep Sea has been closed since ive updated Events Manager

Highly recommend Deep Sea Options to control Deep Sea instead of Events Manager.

Have deepsea.enabled true set ..... Do i need to reboot to make it take effect?

Hey! So theres actually two separate settings here. The one you showed (deepsea enabled in Events Settings) just means Event Manager can trigger it. But theres another setting in the main config called "Disable DeepSea auto event?" which is true by default. That one blocks the vanilla auto open completely. Set it to false and reload, no reboot needed. Then deep sea will open on its own like normal.

this is how ive got mine - deep sea is closed for 1 hour between events

Thanks.... that worked like a charm.
Havent opened the config file at all..... only used the ingame UI.
That might explain why ive had issues with the cargoship event aswell....

EventsManager wouldnt start it if i disabled it in server config.
And if i enabled it in server config, there was sometimes 2 cargoships on map. And they ended up colliding when they docked at harbor

Then i can enable the Harbor Event plugin again and set up a schedule so it alternates between the vanilla cargoship event and harbor event without having the issue where they spawn at the same time.
