Npc Spawn 3.2.1

   (13 reviews)
Message added by KpucTaJl,

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Major Update!
Before installing, carefully read the update instructions included inside the archive.
The archive contains two separate guides: one for users who use BetterNpc, and one for those who do not.

⚠️ If you are using BetterNpc — do not update NpcSpawn separately.
Start the update with BetterNpc and follow its instruction — it already includes the NpcSpawn update steps.

i USE THIS:

I would assume that will work for loot on NPCs, crates, barrels and such.

As far as I know, you have had this opportunity since the creation of Loot Manager, you just need to select the appropriate parameters in the Loot Manager settings and specify the name of the loot table, or completely disable any Loot Manager intervention. Unfortunately, your question proves that many people really thought that Loot Manager was an analog of the plugin that you specified and other plugins for setting up loot on the server, but this is not the case 😞
Loot Manager, if you like, is a query optimizer for filling crates and NPCs with loot at events, and recently the time of the NPC from NpcSpawn. If you are interested in learning more, you can see the explanation in my review on NpcSpawn, probably with some errors, but it does not change the basic essence.

All I know it is populates the things I want it to, and I let NPCspawn and lootmanager take care of the plugin parts.  I like lootmanager and wish Adem would keep it.  But i think my loottable plugin will be able to do the work after all of this is settled.  It's a damn fine plugin

The new version just says "mandatory update" -- there's usually a breakdown of what that means?  What is "mandatory" this time?

As loot manager is reverting to the old format and then will go away, do we use the current version of loot manager or the nov 3rd version that was before the loot manager changes that are apparently disliked and the cause of the plugin being discontinued???

Continuing to require Loot Manager after Adem has announced it's being discontinued DUE TO NEGATIVE FEEDBACK is actually insane. This plugin existed long before Loot Manager and worked just fine, so the idea that this plugin NEEDS it all of a sudden is very funny. It doesn't.

Nothing global, but mandatory, if desired, you will find these changes on your own, but this is just for your curiosity. Don't get me wrong.

With every thing going on with loot manager and npc spawn then needs it as a dependancy a bit more info would be nice to have insted of just saying mandatory, if desired, you will find these changes on your own. Don't post the update as mandatory if you can't give a better description on why it's mandatory, and sins @KpucTaJl is not bothered in interacting with this discusions i expeted a better answer than the one you gave @aimacak

Hello author, I would like to confirm if NpcSpawn has broken away from the LootManager dependency. After installing the latest version of NpcSpawn, can I remove the LootManager plugin from my server??

Yeah, when can we remove loot manager?  I am interested in this too.

Stop building conspiracy theories, there is no detailed answer to the update just because of concern for you, you have the time and energy to arrange a showdown here, but there is no time to insert 2 files into a text comparison and see 1 line. It's as if it's obvious that there's a reason why there's no detailed information about it in this particular update.

Until the NpcSpawn update says that dependency on LootManager is lifted, and until information about dependency on LootManager disappears under it, there is obviously a dependency. Developers are working on their plugins to make them better, and they are posting updates for you, it is logical to assume that in order for you to use the latest versions.
If you have any own views on something, in this case on everything related to LootManager, then why are you asking for advice?
I use the latest versions of plugins.

Don't mislead yourself and other users, LootManager was declared discontinued AFTER NpcSpawn started working with it.
As mentioned many times, KpucTaJI is working on an update.

I read these comments through translation software, and the language barrier makes it very difficult for me to read. I have no ill intentions and respect all the decisions made by the author. Since the update did not specify this, I will keep it as it is!! Thank you for reminding me

At the moment, there is a dependency, stay tuned for plugin updates.

I would be grateful if you could share exactly why you like this plugin less after the update than before.

Honestly , it's simply a matter of frustration.  The amount of updates right after wipe was very over whelming. A plug in I was very used to and could make changes on the fly in seconds without much thought is not as easy anymore mainly because I am not used to all the changes yet.

I would be grateful if you would describe all the inconvenient moments in as much detail as possible, then we will have a chance to correct such situations when using the plugin. So far, yes, I agree that a lot has changed and requires getting used to, but it's important to separate these two concepts as quickly as possible: inconvenience and new ways of managing that require getting used to.
