Hi, the comment you are refering to is over a year old and these features have already been added. Gather rates for trees and nodes can be adjusted in the gather configuration in the gathering tab. Custom gather rates for biomes will not be added since this would make this plugin even more complex and most people are not gonna use this anyways. Gathered items and collectable items can also already be configured separately: You can configure collectable resources directly in the gathering tab, gathered resources are configured in the Gather Configuration. The ability to manually add custom items will be added with the next update as this has been requested very often. Backing up and importing configurations will also be a thing in the next update

The barrel loot option applies to both blue and tan barrels. If you are having issues make sure the loot profile is enabled and configured correctly

Yes you can add more types of weed in the config. Just add another weed config after the existing ones

You can disable the furnace speed in this plugin and then it should work fine with every other plugin. If the functionality of this plugin is not enough for you I would recommend you to use Quick Smelt (https://umod.org/plugins/quick-smelt) and Furnace Splitter (https://umod.org/plugins/furnace-splitter)
