Maybe I misunderstood something, please help:

I thought the plugin replaced (override) the normal spraycan behavior and opened the skin menu (instead of the /si command) - but at the moment it doesn't do anything? So I only see the skins I bought.

The plugin doesn't actually have a feature yet to override the spray can behavior, though it has been asked for recently so I can only guess it's coming! If you hold the spray can, and use /si, changing the skins will create the spray can animation and sound, but the plugin doesn't actually change what happens when you use the spray can on its own - and there isn't anything in the description that says it does so don't get confused there!

Again, spray can behavior has been asked for and I would agree that it would make /si a much faster process but for now it is not a feature

To be honest, I never saw that option in the config so upon testing -- it doesn't nothing for me (unless you and I are missing something?) I would have to assume Skinner used to function like you are wanting with the spray cans

I also have not experienced that issue. To me, that means whatever skin id you are using for whatever item id, Skinner can't find the item in Rust's item list (definition). I would go through your skins, albeit a tedious task, and figure out which one is causing you issues

Is there anything added so that admins can remove skins rather than editing the config just /removeskin id number  /sb then click button to edit to then remove it item, makes it quicker with a visual to remove rugs/doors skins for family friendly servers ?

also the command /st - sets all items in your inventory and your teams to your default craft set  - this causes conflict with skill tree that uses /st.

When we set it to not rename, it also removes the skin name on the UI to pick a skin. That makes it harder to know the name to search for more in that collection. Anyway to keep the UI the Skins name but not rename when actually skinning?

With us able to skin backpacks now... has anyone got it to work?

I add the ones that are starting to show in the Workshop and nothing in game.

yes, me too, just the one from the drop, but when i try to add others from workshop it say in console that can't find item ID

Update for this is coming out today, just finishing of a few extra patches as well

what i would like to see in this plugin is option to delete skin that don't have image. Because when they don't have image "icon" they just don't work. so the Delete option will be good.

Another one thing what i notice, is when you apply some skin they don't apply in sec, and when this happen impact game frame rate, so what i mean the game it's like a froggy (I have hope some ppl understand what do I mean).

I propose to add the cost of changing the skin, for example, in scrap. And a permission that bypasses the cost

That would be a nice option to be able to remove "bad" or "unwanted" skins because of problems with some skins displaying image or text correctly.

I know it takes lots of work to remove those skins from the .json configuration file but it can be done,
also Beee has a nice free tool to help you manage skins when you have many skins in your configuration file: https://codefling.com/tools/editor-for-skinboxskinnerskins   this makes it simpler to add and remove skins, as you can see an image preview.

@KalviHaving some sort of economics or item / scrap  cost for players to do certain actions or import skins  /sip   etc  could be a nice addition or dynamic. If there was a way to make the best skins plugin any better, this is probably one of the only possible things I could also think of.

yes i was test this program, i was see in skinshop that is free that somehow the plugin remove all skins that don't have image. but i would like see in Skinner something like was done in Skin Controller. just a simple option that we can manage the skin way easier. that will be good.

For some reason my config keeps defaulting to the workshop approved skins only. I import the skins I want and everything seems fine fopr a few days. Then it randomly removes all the imported skins and defaults back to approved workshop skins only.
