Have I lost my mind or something?  It seems that /skininv is longer a working command?

Associated error:

I think ive finally found the issue. This was a super hard one to track down. Should be fixed in the next update

Sometimes I'm unable to use the search bar for the skins, but it seems to only happen to the admin, whenever I removed bypass.auth it fixes it

Hey @Whispers88 - do you have any plans to "modernize" the plugin at all in regards to the UI / features?

For example, in comparison to LSkins and Skin Controller. Maybe bring some of those UI / live skin preview options in LSkins / outfit skin sets, etc?

  • Instead of dragging the item back and forth to preview skins, just select the skin you want, open the skins UI on the right and click the skin. No need to ever drag it over to preview it, etc. This is especially useful with having clothes /armor on your body and leaving them on your body without the need to take them off or have them moved into your inventory after you re-skin.
  • Plus having the ability to have images on your own server pull in would probably speed it up for the ones you add in on top of the approved ones… maybe pull it 1 time and it can just load from data

Just curious if you have any plans to maybe do away with the "old" Skinbox style UI (moving items back and forth, back and forth to see skins) skin preview loading times, etc.

Personally, i love the "old" Skinbox style UI, one of the reasons I bought this plugin. I find the other UI's clunky and takes longer to find/preview skins.

I understand for clothing though maybe if you wanted to do a quick blackout/whiteout kit etc.

Does the skinner allow you to search by item/skinname and automatically show first recent skins you've selected?

What about 'pre-sets' so you can quickly swap from say snow camouflage to forest or desert?

And lastly, when you get an item that doesn't have the skin in your presets, when you equip it will it automatically skin the item to your preset?

I'd also recommend you add command: /skinhelp that displays all the skin commands for ease of use.

If so, I can justify the high cost of this plugin over the free skinbox mod I use now 😄

Add me on discord @Whispers88 and I can show you the plugin and how it works if that helps. I think it will cover most of what you have mentioned above.

can you also add the option to auto-skin the items to your preset one pick up, crafting, equipting, or placing on hotbar?

Just watched srtbull's vid on this. Amazing work! Just a question... do we need to overwrite the current config file? If so, is there an efficient way of transferring all the skins from the current file? Otherwise, I'm good with a nice copy / paste.

Thanks, and again amazing work!

No need to do anything with the config, everything will stay in place with the new options added. Always worth making a backup though just in case.

Just wanted to say that the updates are awesome and everything works seamlessly! 😄

As a request, not sure if this is something you have in the works or not but with the new live-update of showing the item being skinned in your inv, would it be possible to be able to click onto a new item of the same type (ie, large box) and skin that as well instead of having to drag said item into the skinner?

I think I have an understanding of why it doesn't work, as only the item you're skinning should be in there, but maybe if it's the same type you could just click on the next box in your inv and be able to skin it right then as well.

My use case is if you have an entire collection of boxes, it sucks to have to drag each individual one into the skinner, re-search the skin tag and select the next one in line. I think Skin Controller has this functionality where it at least keeps the search of the last item so you can do collections easily, but that may be due to having a UI (not sure if that's it at all or how that works lol).

Amazing addition to any server and great update! Thanks for the support! 😄

Thanks!

As for the request im not exactly sure what you are asking for, maybe we can discuss further over discord. At the moment if you wanted to skin all items the same you could set it once in your /skincraft and then use /skininv to skin all those items. You can also right click instead of dragging 😉

@Whispers88 when using /skin command, nothing happens, theres no error message in game nor in server console. Other commands like /skininv seems to be working fine

can you check your console log to see if there are any conflicting plugins that use the same commands ?
