Пока не знаю. ИИ не дает четкого способа сделать это.

The botrespawn plugin has a roam range parameter. As long as I remember. it sets the radius in which the bot can move. Can add a similar parameter?

This is raidable bases, not the bot respawn plugin.

@nivexThanks! Must not have noticed it before lol So far I'm not having any Wandering NPC issues, just the delightful chase out of zone mechanic and it's definitely caught my players by surprise this wipe! Must have had it off before the update or something XD

@EmigoI think all npcs. I'm trying to fix it now but I tried before and couldn't find anything useful on it

@zulgno. download 2.2.7 to use the npcs again

maybe is a stupid question sorry if it is but whats the difference on this method of ia on the npcs with the one that uses the plugin "bradley guards" for example? Cause those npc stay on place.

Will the Free version be supported or will we need to buy the paid version?

The roam range parameter is Aggression Range in the config. this range and deaggresion range increases dramatically when attacked. this allows them to exit the dome and chase the players.

no problem. because it is controlled by code that I was missing. it's fixed in the next update (2.2.8) when it's released (soon)

I will continue to support both versions. Though I ran into issues after submitting premium 2.2.7 and wanted to focus on fixing it before implementing those changes in the free version.

@nivex
Is it at all possible to make the bases persistent through server restarts or even plugin reloads (more concerned about restart).
The players have been bringing this up more and more as he months go on. My server is modded to, something extreme and back. With the load that some plugins put on the server it's unavoidable. So I have to restart twice a day.

I suppose if the players were paying attention to the server time and the upcoming restart this wouldn't be an issue.
But lets be real. That's never. Ever. Never ever. Never ever never going to happen lol.

If this isn't possible. Would you be able to put in something like an event checker with a time restriction?
Meaning after X time it will stop spawning bases because of the restart times entered into the configuration.
As far as the time. I don't know what would be good. Probably the average for a nightmare raid. And possibly send a message to all raid zones of the upcoming server restart at x time every "xxx" seconds once it reaches a set time within server restart.

I know that last part is a bit clusterfucky. I'll try and clean it up and repost. Just wanted to get the idea out there.

@thepiercedweirdo Do you use RustAdmin? I use the Scheduled commands to warn my players:

restart 600 "Make sure to get your body indoors or to a safe location. <color=red>Server restart is imminent!</color>"

I have this run every night, you can configure the time to be longer so they have more warning.

-This also counts down in smaller intervals as it gets progressively closer to restart.

I use TimedExecute to run the restart command as well as messages telling players that restart is coming from 30 minutes, 15, 10, and then 300 second countdown.

Having the separate zone massages however would be helpful to tell them to get moving and finish it up.
Maybe add it in as a separate GUI?
Players will ignore chat messages after a while once they get use to it happening.
Even if I make it giant and orange.
So the GUI notification may be a better option now that I think about it.

@thepiercedweirdo That makes sense to me too. I've gone with a minimalist approach with chat messages, turned off a lot of zone notifications too and we use a plugin called 'Bottom', I put all our 'notifications' in that one. You could also use 'CountDownClock' - Count's down to a specific time, it's set to say 'WIPE' but a little editing and you can make it say anything you want, we use it for 'PVP Events'.

heya bud. this exists already 🙂 the plugin will not spawn any bases when a restart is pending. so if you start your restarts with restart 3600 then no new bases will spawn within that hour, and it will give all current players one hour to finish existing raids. just adjust the time to your needs. I'd say around 3600 to 7200 should be long enough to finish any raid.

as for notification messages they're hit or miss. some players wouldn't see them if it were directly in the middle of the screen 😛

how can this happen?

this looks like the despawn timer is to low  I found 30 minutes to 45 minutes is more than enough time for players to raid a base. I would also check into the :

"Minutes Until Despawn After Looting (min: 1)": 30,
"Minutes Until Despawn After Inactive (0 = disabled)": 30,
"Minutes Until Despawn After Inactive Resets When Damaged": true,

A great feature I would love to see added is the ability to specify how many of the total number of bots spawn inside and outside.

AI is pretty spot on for the most part in 2.3.0.

You may see bots AI act confused or run off endlessly in a straight line...

I can't fix this. It can happen while you are vanished, but as for happening with players? Rust will have to fix it

I did not rewrite the AI like most plugins. I simply did what I could to improve it. I may in the future, but for now I am very satisfied with how the AI behaves

Thank you for the response. Understood. I'll try and get a time figured out for a restart. I'll start screwing around with that on my test today.

And exactly. I mean all I really can do with a notification is say
Me: "You were warned. So this is on you."
Them: "But I didn't see it :("
Me: "It was 20 point font in bright orange..."

idk, it took me over 2hrs to solo one of the Nightmare bases from the RB bundle. haha

So I admin on a server with the premium version. The latest update that lets the guards run out (is that a facepunch ai fuckup) of the bubble is causing problem with it getting locked to someone unintentionally by just running by with someone else intending to do it but no longer able to.

@Rubiks-Q-Bertthere is no known fix for this atm so if its a real problem just disable the npcs until i figure it out. this update requires me to learn an entirely different AI and I don't know what I'm doing. it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. i tell the npc to stay put and it runs off anyway like an untrained dog
