I'm late to the party for the terms of service change, I have 2 questions 1 as a base builder and 1 as a server owner.

I saw you say in to an earlier question, that using DLC skins and such in Raidable Bases is ok as long as they cannot be picked up, is that still true? As I have sold my bases and they have lots of DLC content.

If so then I only need to stop any DLC content from dropping in my raids on my server correct?

Even if your answer breaks my heart, thanks in advance!

heya, yes that's true, and the TOS option should take care of that, if there are any issues with content being missed then I can add them when that time comes.

Not sure if this is my config that’s the issue, but I got told you can use battering rams in raidable bases without the ram losing any durability - so you can effectively use them to raid for free…?

@Bear Grillsthe ram head will take damage next update. the ram already does.

Hi!

When spawning murderers and NPCs around the bases, is there a way to prevent them from dropping loot when they are killed?
Is there also a way to choose the loot you want them to have in their inventory?

I didn’t see or find anything in the “Profiles” folder.

EDIT Does what they drop count as part of the base loot defined in “Base Loot” and “Difficulty Loot”? I don’t think so ..

oh i wanna know this one too! Also, can we configure their accuracy or their difficulty manually?

heya, those settings are under Npcs in each profile. you can define what they drop on death with the available options that exist already. beyond that, no.

if you dont want them to drop heavy scientist loot then change Alternate Default Scientist Loot or disable it entirely. murderers are heavy scientists, all of my npcs are.

they do not use loot tables. loot tables are for the bases

Scientist Items Dropped On Death can be configured with specific items. murderers have an option too.

you really just need to look. there are too many options to list them all

does anyone know why NPC's dont spawn? They spawn on all tier bases except for expert. I looked over my profile config file but I cant seem to find the discrepancy.

hi, your profile is working fine here. up to 18 npcs will spawn inside of the base, with the rest spawning outside if there's insufficient space inside. that's too many npcs though, I'd reduce it by half at least for better performance.

Hello, dear Nivex! Please help me solve this problem: players find the loot they want and don't complete the raid, leaving the map with bases that are unsuitable for raids. Other players have to wait for the spawn time to pass before they can start a new raid. I want to know how to force players to complete the raid and how to enable a lock so that if they don't complete the raid, they can't start a new one. Is there a configuration option for this? If so, please provide the line number. Thank you in advance!

heya, you can enable Lock Players To Raid Base After Entering Zone and Prevent Players From Hogging Raids in the config to help with that.

Lock Treasure To First Attacker (true) and Lock Treasure Max Inactive Time (20) are already enabled by default as well.

if you use player lockouts, and you should for issues like this, then Assign Lockout When Lock Treasure Max Inactive Time Expires can be enabled to give them a lockout whenever Lock Treasure Max Inactive Time expires. if they abandoned an easy raid then they will be locked out from easy raids and have to do a different difficulty. you can of course assign lockouts to every difficulty all at once with Apply All Lockouts Everytime.

regardless, people will always try to exploit this. especially clans and teams. they'll leave their clan and team or anything else they can think of to cheat the system. you will have to enforce that. ban them from raiding with raidablebases.banned permission if necessary.

So i created a trap in my raidable bases using radioactive water. They are spawning in the raid base just fine, including still showing the radioactive water in the barrels. But the water coming out of the sprinklers is not radioactive nor is it drawing from the barrels. Any way to fix this? Thanks in advance. 

 

Edit: upon further investigation it seems to be an issue with the component fluid combiner in copy paste ( tried to use it because the game only allows 4999 radioactive water in a barrel for some reason) so for anyone trying to do this never use that component and go straight to the pump.

oddball not too important issue: if you have a door controller on shutters, they spring open when the base spawns. They are closed in the copy paste file, and the door controllers are working as intended, I have a trap that opens a door and shutter at the same time, the shutter is opening as soon as the base spawns and stays open. If you trigger the trap and the door opens, when it closes so does the shutter. sorry for the oddball traps lol

Strangely, I did not participate in the base raid. The public screen reminded me to complete the raid on xx before joining another raid. Why did this situation occur??? The problem that occurred after updating the latest version!!

so this happened on my server, a person had passed through the edge of a raid  and even though did not engage it it locked her to it. I had to despawn it for her to join her teamate in his raid. And yes it seems to be new to this update

It's been a long time since I've set up this plugin, or any plug-ins in general, and everything works that way. Remind the dummy, is this parameter in minutes or seconds?
