Suggestion: Can we make the chat announcements all optional to global or team chat?

For example, I would like to announce to global chat when a player throws a singal,

but only broadcast to the team their stats for taking down the heli.

Can we make that optional instead of all chat messages to global or all chat messages to team?

Using this option: ""Announcements Also go to Global Chat (false = Player/Team Only)": false"

If the Team options are disabled, and the above option is false, it will only go to the player who called. 

If team options are enabled, with above set to false it will go to the player who called and their team.

With the above set to true, it will go to global chat.

 

I will see about adding options to separate the announcements in the future.

I understand.  The reason I suggest splitting them is because lesser skilled players feel pressured by the times, and the hyper competitiveness of "Who is the fastest time", but the signal being thrown is great for Global chat because it makes their neighbors aware of an incoming patrol heli.  There is a big benefit to having them both optional as team or global chat.  Thank you for the consideration.

Hello, I noticed that if you call a signal and damage the helicopter too quickly, it simply runs away, how can you change that?

Please familiarise yourself with the config, the option you need to change and make sure to set false is:

You have not set the permission, the chat message literally tells you the issue 🙂

Hello, how can I set the start time down so that the helicopter spawns immediately? Currently it takes almost 2 minutes for the helicopter to appear

You have two options, you can change the initial speed of the heli in the config until it reaches the target location, 42 is default, increase to make it arrive quicker:

Quote

Second option is to make the heli spawn closer, default is 1.25 which means 1.25 x the distance of the map size. Reduce to make it spawn closer:

"Map Scale Distance Away to Spawn Helicopter (Default: 1.25 = 1.25 x Map Size Distance)": 1.25
