Is it true that players can just start hack on a crate and the chinook will blow up the bradley? Please fix that. It's the only thing stopping me from purchasing

This is the first I've heard of this. I did some testing and haven't been able to recreate that issue. Please feel free to create a support ticket if you continue to run into this with any details you have around it.

With the default position of the Bradley that is true. However, the location of the Bradley as well as the turrets & Npcs can be customized through the config file. Because of this and the fact that some players like this feature and it would change it for them too, I have opted to leave this as the default.

Can you make it optional? I don’t want to learn how to move the locations, reloading the plugin over and over again to trial and error lagging my players

Not without changing the way spawn locations work since it only looks at the locations in config and spawns them. If you'd like, I can give you an edited config with a different location for Bradley. I would just pick a different location on the top story of oil rig. It would most likely have to be off the heli-pad entirely to prevent that from happening. Then you would just need to replace the config, reload and you'd be good to go.

Got a few reports of the Red card not working on the event. Am I missing a setting?

Nope. This plugin doesn't modify anything with the card doors so they should still operate as they normally would.

What I am seeing is the code locks do not have power,  I checked one that was not controlled by this plugin and it has power.

@tuxuser Code locks don't require power normally so I'm not sure what you mean. The only power the plugin deals with at all is for the turrets it spawns. Feel free to reach out on discord. Perhaps you could send me a video and I can get a better idea of the problem.  My discord is: cahnu

Just did some digging and it seems as though Large Oil is broken, the Red card door to get to the locked crate is not powered up. I took a video and will share with you on Discord.

Anyone else having issues where players cannot fly a Minicopter into the Large Oil Rig Zone? It just says vehicles are not allowed here, how do I fixe this issue?

This plugin doesn't have anything around vehicles so that's coming from some other plugin. I would take a look at what other plugins you have around vehicle permissions/zones.

currently there is just an option to run it through chat commands but they also can run automatically.

Hello,

I recently came across your plugin for "Rust" and I'm considering purchasing it for my server. However, I have a question regarding the interaction between your plugin and the vanilla event at the Large Oil Rig.

When the event is activated manually using the provided command, does the regular (vanilla) event at the Large Oil Rig continue to occur as normal? Or does loading your plugin alter or disable the vanilla event in any way?

I'm trying to understand how the two events coexist and if there are any conflicts or overrides that I should be aware of. This information will help me make a more informed decision about integrating your plugin into my server.

A player on my server reported to me that a HeavyOilRig event spawned on the oilrig while he was on it, and killed him while he was waiting for his teleport home. Settings are set for the event not to spawn while players are on it. EDIT: I also want to add that I dont have this plugin use its random spawn. I have EventManager calling the event in via command. This could be the issue, and bypasses the player check.

plugin failed to remove turrets upon event end just noticed on my server maybe in need of a check over with the changes to Oil Rig

The plugin does not interfere with the vanilla rig so they can both technically be run at the same time. The only conflict between the two I have seen is the chopper that comes in can land on the bradley and destroy it. The default spawn location of the bradley can be customized though so that can always be changed to prevent that from being able to occur.

If you have another plugin calling it manually, it will bypass the event area check and force it to start. So that's definetely why that's happening. I can look into adding a config option to also include checks when calling it manually in a future version.

I just tested on the latest version and confirmed it is removing the turrets properly for me. Is it possible you have another plugin that could be conflicting?

none for oilrig its just been since the update that facepunch put out for oilrig restructure

I added a config setting for this in the latest version. You can change this setting to false to require checks on manual call as well.  "Should the event bypass player proximity check and min/max player threshold when starting manually?"

Auto Turrets still spawn even them I have them disabled.
