You'll need to edit this line in the CS.

CUIClass.CreatePanel(ref _baseCraftCui, "baseCraft_main", "Overlay", "0 0 0 0", $"{db[2]}.{db[1]} 0.{db[23]}", $"{db[10]}.{db[1]} 0.{db[10]}", false, 0.1f, 0f, "assets/icons/iconmaterial.mat", "-588 250", "-210 620");

sorry, could have been more precise.

if you search for the methods

CreateBaseCui(BasePlayer player, int tier = 1)

its the second line.

I changed it for my server to

CUIClass.CreatePanel(ref _baseCraftCui, "baseCraft_main", "Overlay", "0 0 0 0.2", $"{db[2]}.{db[1]} 0.{db[23]}", $"{db[10]}.{db[1]} 0.{db[10]}", false, 0.1f, 0f, "assets/content/ui/uibackgroundblur.mat", $"-588 250", $"-210 610");

" 0 0 0 0.2" is the background color of this panel. Together with the change of the asset to "assets/content/ui/uibackgroundblur.mat" its a bit easier to read the content.

I also adjusted the size a bit. Instead of 620, i am using now 610 for anchorMax Y value. So its not overlapping with the Name of the player.

TY, did not know that. So @Davidplease provide a useful fix for your plugin. Otherwise stop selling it, if its not working.
Its a pain when such crucial plugin is bricked...

So we have a plugin that is broken, and we're not allowed to fix this? No-one is distributing this anywhere, we literally would only deploy the fix on our own server to bring back functionality.

I think you can read. David has already written that he is working on a new version. Be patient

Please read it again. You are not allowed to publish code snippets or anything else

The point is though that it's not working right now, and that's a great temporary solution to get the plugin back online.

@Mals

You'd think that with David "liking" the fix put forwards by @molokatan, that could be seen as he likes this and has given his approval.

We have permission everyone!

There was a comment from guy who didn't own the file, modified it and posted it here publicly and I think that's what Mals is referring to.
I don't see nothing wrong with editing plugin on your own server as long as you not redistributing it or sharing publicly.

Anyway @Mabel gave me idea how I could keep CraftMenu accessible through workbenches, I'm going to implement it tomorrow.

Ahh see that makes some sense. It just came across really heavy handed for mals to generally warn us like that.

If there was a pirate in the comments, that should have been targeted to them via a quote or tag.

Thank you for your time in adding this information, it has given greatly needed context.

@David you need to modify the EULA to allow people editing it for their own servers, as that is not allowed with the current EULA.

The fix is quick, as other similar plugins did too.
In the workbenches there is a red button and if you press that the craft menu opens.

Due to recent changes made by facepunch to workbenches, CraftMenu won't work for some time. I'm sorry for inconvenience this may cause to you but there's no simple fix I can just implement today. The original way how players were accessing CraftMenu is not available anymore because workbenches are no longer "lootable entities". Once oxide/carbon introduces hooks for new workbenches I can start working on some solutions.

That fix has issues

1. Its placement is blocking the industrial crafter

2. It's not a "easy" fix for this plugin as it would only work for plugins that already used a command to open there menu

no, since it already exists and is made by CHAOS, just put the button in another place...

the command has nothing to do with it, pressing the key opens the menu if the parent of the key is a workbench, a simple and quick thing to do on the code side....

I'll do the modification for my servers, I don't care about the EULA, I paid for a plugin that I could only use for 2 wipes! And the developer doesn't fix it! So until I fix it, either I use the CHAOS plugin, or I also add a button to the workbench that opens the craft menu!

The developer needs to fix this quickly, not us!

the button press hook is managed by the CraftMenu plugin and from there it can open the interface just like it did before, internally it already has a command or a method to call to open the menu....
