Subterra is by far one of the greatest maps i ever played. There are so many great places with lots of details - awesome.
A lot of puzzles with - or some without - hints, a lot of cool places where players can build and a lot of possibilities to get around on this map. Whether you drive by car, fly with minicopter or drive around with the train system, which is my favorite. The surface rails are connected with the metro system and you can drive between them. Of course there are some bugs like on nearly all custom maps, but the dev reacts very fast and most of them were corrected in the last update. 

Amazing map with a lot of monuments to be discovered/played on and a really great work of niko, defineteley amazing for pve / rp and much options for pvp!

I bought it despite the negative reviews. Unfortunately, we couldn't use it on our server as it has too many bugs. There are holes in the terrain, some of the doors would not work,  and it is extremely laggy. 

However, I really hope that after the map is updated that we can use it on our live server. It is beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. The monuments are fabulous. I will update my review after the next update of the map (which I hope is soon!)

Awesome map with lots of prefabs and of course the coolest part of all is all the raised canal streams (AKA water bridges) that are totally usable via row or motorized boats to travel around the map.  This map probably has to be on my top 5 list at the moment.

Almost zero quality control here. Quantity over quality.

Pointed out several holes the size of Pennsylvania to map author. May or may not be fixed for coming wipe,I couldn't tell ya. I patched the holes myself with foundations in-game so I didn't disturb any players with a wipe just after a wipe, ya know? It gets old, quick. I'm ok with the quick self-patches to an extent.

Point out with video that train tunnels above-ground cannot be passed-thru with the cart and was told it's because of the version of rustedit that messes with the height. I mean, ok. That still doesn't make the map I purchased have train tunnels that allow players to drive-thru right now. It may be fixed now. Don't know.

Back to edit my review. The whole train tunnel issue was resolved by updating the workcart spawner that was failing to compile on restarts. Big ole head-scratching oops across the board.

Gave a heads up to them about people falling through the map after failing to descend at the pyramid and was told it's user error. It's user error when when you die, sure. Not when it turns to (InsideTerrain Violation Level 200) every time at the same spot. All I can do is point it out, man.

Get your shit together Niko. I believe you make great maps, but it's very, very evident that they are not tested the way they should be. If you want people to be your beta testers, then sell your maps at beta tester prices. Despite your removal from other places to sell your maps, I gave you a chance. Tried to help ya but you disappointed me.

Niko has been very responsive to any and all inquiries about his maps as of late. I believe things only get better from here with their maps.

I still believe in ya and think you have good ideas but you gotta get it together in the quality department

it's been 3 times that we try to put this map which looks pretty but is completely buggy !! between the spam consoles in red which do not cease, the holes which are made in the map etc. the updates do not change anything (moreover the monument medic incredibly farts the eyes ...) in short I give up! money screwed up the window! I was however patient enough, I waited several updates to test it each time, and each time it was a complete failure! I have yet several maps of niko but this is a disaster, I even had a friend test it to be sure that it did not come from our machine and no, he also has the same concerns on his servers . map to be completely redone to resume the basics of the map and touch the real problem ... courage .. 

The attention to detail is really professional and the map runs better than expected.

Definitely worth the price.

Niko's maps are definitely some of the best I've used hands down. 

I do have to say that this map is lagtastic. There is so much crammed into it it will absolutely drop your FPS. I have to drop my draw distance to around 1k to be able to even try to play this map.

Other than that it's a really neat idea for the city and I loved the construction area the best, reminded me of GTA.
