It is a copper monument depicting a standing woman dressed in a long tunic.
It rises up to 49 meters high, reaching almost 93 meters if we count the pedestal.
On her head is a seven-cornered crown, symbolizing the seven continents and the seven seas. 25 windows open on it.
In her right hand she carries a torch, redesigned in 1916 to enhance its burning flame appearance.
Instead, in her left hand she holds a tablet with the date of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
